I lounged around the house this morning and got a late start.

Talked about the Cat, Factorio, Lost Souls, and more Factorio. This algebra problem should not be this difficult but I keep trying to do it in my head.

Saw the first red leaves of autumn this morning. A chilly one out there today.

Talked about the usual stuff. Factorio, what I’m reading (Lost Souls, Noah Chinn), the Cat beta feedback, and how I might teach novel writing. Weird thing to be thinking about but hey.

I didn’t think it was as rainy as it turned out to be. Bigger fool me, but it was a 2-day so…

Talked about the rain, Factorio (a little), reading (finished Fishing, started The Ghost Is Clear), and a bit about the Cat while I wait for beta reader feedback.

Paying attention to the “haiku autumn” season has made me see this first day of astronomical autumn in new light. Somewhat subdued and cloudy light this morning but the hints of autumn have been with me for some time.

I talked Factorio, Heretical Fishing, a bit about the Cat, and the effect of two out of three days.

A slow meander on top of a late start. Just as well, it was raining until just before sunrise.

Talked about Factorio too much, the Cat too little, and Haylock Jobson in passing. Spend some minutes talking about living the dream.

The dental excursion yesterday, while relatively uninspiring, still left me draggin’ my tail this morning. I got out, probably spent too much time walking-not-talking, but it’s a 1-day and I did The Thing.

Talked about Heretical Fishing, Factorio, and a little about the state of the Cat.

Temps in the 40s this morning. The season is definitely turning.

I talked about Ghost Mortem, beta readers for the Cat, and Factorio, along with the normal maundering about my wandering.

I didn’t see that coming. Obviously. Didn’t even see the lightning. Or the rain with drops so fat and heavy I felt them pelting my shoulders. Luckily there weren’t too many of them and my extra fleece protected me from betting too wet.

I talked about yeast, Ghost Mortem, and Factorio.

Yes, I walked in the rain. Put on my rain shell and did the thing because it’s a 2-day and a little water won’t hurt me.

Talked about Forgotten Fleet, The Cat, and Factorio. Mostly Factorio. An the weather. I mentioned that it was wet a couple of times.

Lots of cloud layers today. I may have been a little too enamored of them
