  • #253: GABBY PETITO Case Recap - Manhunt For Brian Laundrie - True Crime
We announce that we will add some True Crime Podcasts periodically, especially the stories that really grip you.

The first one is the Gabby Petito tragedy, whose story has drawn in the entire world. #justiceforgabby

We talk about News Reporter Brian Entin, who is a journalist for News Nation Now who is becoming a celebrity with his incredible reporting on this case.
He is at the front lines and has non stop updates on Twitter.

We go over the entire time line of this case from the very beginning.
We talk about the video from the domestic violence incident and we feel that Gabby is an abused women with her stress and her sweet disposition and how she explains the
situation and we feel that the police misread what was happening entirely.

We share our thoughts about the murdered lesbian couple coincidence in Moab, Utah.

We wonder if Gabby's remains would have ever been found had the Youtubers Red White & Bethune not filmed the white van by accident and discovered it in one of their videos.

We share a clip of Brian Entin where he announces that News Nation Now will start a new show called Missing In America, because they feel that this will not end with Gabby. They want to
    help others in this situation.

Then we talk about John Walsh who is also helping in this case and who wants to bring Justice to Gabby and who talks about the Man Hunt about Brian Laundrie on his show In Pursuit. He calls
Brian Laundrie's parents the Dirty Laundries for aiding and abetting their murderer of a son. #dirtylaundries

Then we talk about Dog The Bounty Hunter, Duane Chapman being at the Laundrie's house and promising to find their son and bringing him to justice.

Brian Entin tells everyone that the Laundrie's never, ever turn their lights on at night - they live solely in the dark which is super weird.

Her Dad was super supportive through all her studies and encouraged her to study, science, tech and business, as well as being an entrepreneur.

College was fun for Dominique and she is a perfectionist. She was one of 3 women that graduated in her program in a male dominated industry, where they are not used to the beautiful cheerleader type.

  • #245: SASHA SPIVEY From The Luxury Travel Line Franki Ray "Surviving Is Important, Thriving Is Elegant"
In this Part 2 episode we get to know Sasha Spivey better and what keeps her centered and thriving and how she plans to put all her effort into pushing Franki Ray into an empire
that they have dreamed about from the beginning.

Sasha was born into an immigrant family with an International flair that is second to none. Her Dad from Slovenia, her Mom from Mexico and subsequently after they divorced in her teens, her Step Mom from the Philippines
and her Step Dad from Argentina.
She spent all her summers overseas and that definitely gave her an edge, fearlessness and a very healthy ambition.

She went to Texas A & M where she had a tumultuous 2 years where she struggled with substances and eating disorders. Sasha has been a perfectionist since she was 3 years old.
She made perfect grades and put on a perfect façade of everything always being great and appeared polished when in reality it wasn't.
You cannot be perfect forever - eventually that takes its toll.
Her parents were very supportive and kind and just wanted their daughter to be ok, they gave her a perfect childhood and she never had anything bad happen to her.
Her parents gave her a rehab treatment center as a graduation present, which she credits to saving her.
Even though she struggled she still graduated with honors.

Stacy, Sasha's best friend was at Texas State University and did not understand the gravity of the situation at the time. She wishes she was more mature at the time to be there more for Sasha during that time.

Sasha talks about her eating disorders and how food is a big deal growing up European, how it is a comfort factor, showing of love, having restaurateur's for parents and that it is also one of the few things you can control.
When Sasha is not in control of things she finds ways to feel like she is in control.
It is also super easy to relapse and nobody notice.
She learned a lot. She was only 20 years old and didn't have a lot on the line yet.

Sasha believes in rehab for people that need it and she encourages people not to be resistant to therapy. She believes that it is important to come to the reality that everyone has issues.

Sasha says that ongoing therapy keeps her centered and goal oriented and how to prioritize time.

After rehab Sasha was in clinical research for a while and then became a medical aesthetician. She worked with a wonderful plastic surgeon for a decade and met her husband in between there on Match.com
They have been together for 10 years and she is a proud bonus Mom to his 2 children. She doesn't want children of her own.

In 2017 her and Stacey started working on their brand Franki Ray while both still had full time jobs.

    PARTY WITH MISS POLLY:

Does a hysterectomy affect your ability to have an orgasm?

    QUESTION OF THE DAY:

  • #244: STACEY GEORGE From The Luxury Travel Line Frankie Ray "Sometimes Inspiration Comes From a Single Ray Of Sunshine"
We celebrate 60.000 downloads and we are super excited to be able to do that with the incredible team of Stacey George and Sasha Spivey of the Luxury Travel Line "Frankie Ray".

In this Part 1 episode we get to know Stacey George better and what drives her to work so hard and where all her passion comes from for this amazing brand.
Stacey was born and raised in Dallas, TX - she met Sasha in Kindergarten where they became best friends and have since spent their entire life together. They have always been this close and are
never sick of each other. They are true Soul Sisters at heart.
Fashion has always been in Stacey's Soul - she had a fashion business with her sister while in college and it has always been her first love.

Stacey lost her Mom Callan at the young age of 15. After that tragedy her Dad raised her and her sisters. They all live super close to each other. She doesn't stray far from the people she loves.
She says that part of such a tremendous loss is holding the people that you do have very, very close. She says it humbles you and shows you that you are not invincible and you learn from your pain.
Stacey believes that her Mom is always looking out for them. She was a wild and fun lady.

Stacey gives very important advice about when teenagers go through the loss of a parent. It is incredibly eye opening. She says that she still gets sad about the loss of her Mom and says that hey
really didn't know how to deal with it when it happened. Their Dad raised them to the best of his ability but didn't know how to talk about it.

Stacey then shares the devastating story about her ex fiancée, who was struggling with their break up, ending up committing suicide. They were together for about 7 years, lived together and he had 2 children.
He just couldn't find his inner happiness and Stacy still struggles with the blame game of what more she could have done.

She says that this is kind of the beginning of a campaign to give yourself the strength to take the love from the people around you- know that you are a good person and know that if something bad happens you can't blame yourself.
    She still struggles with that.

Stacey believes in turning everything tragic into something positive.

Stacey and Sasha named their brand "Frankie Ray" after their Dad's and that is for a reason. It is their outlet and they are channeling it into something positive. They have both been through a lot and they have a lot of
energy and emotion and they are putting that together into a "POSITIVE RAY OF SUNSHINE".
It isn't always easy, but they find it very therapeutic and it has been very beneficial for them.

We talk about how hard it is to find a good therapist and that they can sometimes cause more harm.
Sasha gives a great truck analogy about the past and guilt and shame and the future.

Stacey hopes that her story will help someone else.

The Frankie Ray briefcases and the whole travel line are built with trials, tribulations, tears and a ton of love!!!
Stacey is blessed with 3 wonderful sisters, the greatest Dad and the best friend in the world. She couldn't ask for more.

Stay tuned for Part 2 next week with Stacey's best friend Sasha.
