Part of finding enjoyment, I believe, is having a sense of purpose in what you do. Having a niche or specialty has given me that. However, I have also found that if you don't set things up right, your "purpose", "specialty", or whatever you want to call it, can actually become the bane of your existence instead of a source of happiness.
