DAILY BREAD RELEASES LATEST "WHO'S HUNGRY REPORT"

Daily Bread's new "Who's Hungry Report" is now out and the findings are concerning: in the past year, there were 2.53 million client visits across 150 food banks in Toronto, which is a 51 per cent increase compared to 2002. And, 1 in 10 Torontonians are now relying on food banks. Neil describes the extent of food insecurity in the City right now and factors that are contributing to the problem.
TORONTO POLICE: HATE RELATED INCIDENTS HAVE GONE UP IN TORONTO

Toronto Police have indicated that there has been a spike in hate related crimes in Toronto--mostly against the Jewish community. It's a development that has prompted Chief Myron Demkiw to beef up the Police Service's hate crimes unit. Deputy Chief Lauren Pogue weighs in on what they've been seeing so far and the steps TPS is taking to address the threat.
