- Episode 63: Recruiting & scheduling rants, college baseball is having a moment, big week for Gamecock golfers
In a grab-bag style episode, Beck and Thomas each sound off in their own rants. Thomas has had it with the negative nancies that have been following (the lack of) Gamecock recruiting lately... while Beck takes issue with neutral site news in CFB and the fact that we just paid UNC $1M to cancel our home-and-home series with them. After that we touch on some college baseball news before shouting out a pair of Gamecock golfers that have made headlines this week.

45 min - Episode 62: Football team & recruiting news, baseball finally has juice again, special Friday at the bar
There's lots of negative football news on the pod this week: transfer RB Sam Williams-Dixon was arrested and dismissed from the team, and Byrnes RB Tre Segarra has committed to LSU. We talk about the immediate impacts of both of those items before taking a brief look at the Gamecocks' 2026 TV schedule that was released last week. On a positive note, the Gamecock Baseball program finally has a little juice to it with a real coach at the helm in Kevin Schnall. Thomas and Beck talk about the plethora of CCU transfers that followed Schnall to Columbia before talking about early expectations heading into next season. Lastly, we talk about a very special promotion happening at the bar on Friday night. Make sure you listen to the whole episode to hear what's happening!

44 min - Episode 61: Welcome Home, Kevin Schnall
After weeks of suspense and waiting, former Coastal Carolina head coach Kevin Schnall is headed for Founders Park. Beck and Thomas discuss this monumental first hire for Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati, who kept this search and interview process under wraps for weeks leading up to Schnall's hire. They also analyze the positive shockwaves this sends through the baseball program from a roster building perspective, as several CCU players have entered the portal and already committed to USC by the end of Tuesday night. Sechnall's arrival could mean immediate success for the Gamecocks, who have not sniffed national significance in the many years since their last trip to Omaha.

42 min - Episode 60: Analyzing US Senate's "Protect College Sports Act"
Protecting players, keeping the game fair, and putting guardrails on the transfer portal. Those are just three of the main issues that the US Senate's bipartisan "Protect College Sports Act" sets out to do. Longtime listener and first time guest TigerPaw Julian joined the show to share his thoughts on the bill, leaning on his experience from his time working in the nation's capital.

1 hr 7 min - Episode 59: Home-and-home with UNC canceled, SEC vs B1G strength of schedule, Ole Miss tampering investigation
It's yet another sign of the times in college football: South Carolina and North Carolina mutually canceled their upcoming home-and-home series in what looks like an effort to preserve a week for each team to play a cupcake game. This makes four total cancellations of home-and-home series for the Gamecocks, who will no longer play previously scheduled games against Miami, Virginia Tech and NC State in the near future. Thomas and Beck discuss the cancellation and how the CFB powers that be can bring these interesting home-and-home series back soon. After that the boys discuss SEC vs. B1G strength of schedules after Lane Kiffin was in the news last week for saying the SEC still has the far and away toughest schedule in the nation. Finally we circle back to a story we first talked about when the winter portal opened. The NCAA is investigating Ole Miss over tampering allegations from Clemson.

52 min - Episode 58: Football recruiting, stadium renovation buzz, time to find a new baseball coach & more
Gamecock football has picked up two high school recruits and signed a transfer OL since the last time we talked ball. Beck and Thomas take a closer look at Vincent Chin's signing and speculate what it means for the entire unit's outlook on the upcoming season. A friend of the program recently visited the Williams-Brice renovation project. Beck got the inside scoop on what new things fans can expect to experience come football season. Finally, after a historically dreadful school year of major men's sports, the baseball team was knocked out of the first round of the SEC tournament. Jeremiah Donati now has his sights set on making the first major hire of his tenure. Beck and Thomas discuss the fallout of this bad baseball season and where Donati might turn to find new leadership.
