Prior to becoming President of CEO Space Houston, Bonnie Karpay held a number of positions across a diverse range of careers, including:  Office Manager, Marketing, Outside Sales, Financial Advisor, Trust Officer, CPA (auditor), Software Consultant, and Personal Life Coach.  At first glance, it would appear that she just couldn’t hold a job.  In hindsight, she recognized that the ongoing job dissatisfaction was her “Inner Entrepreneur” screaming for attention.  This was her necessary path in order to accumulate the skill sets needed to properly serve her clients, which she does with pleasure on a daily basis.

Bonnie holds a B.S. in Psychology from Tulane University and also a B.S. in Accounting from University of South Florida.  She raised her son in Houston, TX where she currently resides.

How long have you been in business? 3 years

What inspired you to start the business?  I was a Realtor in a declining market, loved to work out of my home, read Pat O'Bryan's book, "Your Portable Empire" and decided to start an online business.

Why should someone do business with you? New online entrepreneurs should do business with me if they are serious about learning how to increase profits through online marketing strategies.  I have already put a successful system in place that works and leaves all the guessing behind.

What is the secret to your success? The main secret to my success is that I'm consistent and persistent.  I don't give up. The second secret is I am always looking for opportunities and I am in the habit of saying yes when the door opens!

What inspired you to start the business? I truly like working with men and helping them make the best first impression.

What inspired you to start the business? Frustration from the poor reputation and quality most African American "gospel stage plays" have acquired over the past few years.  Ultimately, the beginnings come from obedience to God.

Why should someone do business with you? I have a great reputation in the industry an my style of theatre and services is different than the rest.

What is your greatest success story? I began at HIS feet productions during a recession and unemployment.  I was sustained on unemployment nearly 4 full years and used the money given from my former employer to get started chasing my destiny.

Karen Campbell:

Name a person who shaped your life in a positive way.Joyce and Lynn were my first two supervisors in my professional communications career. They invested time and energy (and lots of patience) into shaping me into a leader. Today, when I mentor young women, I tell them that rather than thank me they should say a prayer of thanks for Joyce and Lynn.

Have you experienced something that changed your life? My faith shaped my initial career choice and I spent 23 years in what is called "church work." When I no longer felt a part of the church, I left both it and my career. I still had my faith however. So now, I live out my beliefs by investing in passionate people, helping them realize their passion for transforming lives. I now experience incredible stories on a daily basis ... people changing the lives of AIDS patients in a hospice, breast cancer survivors, women using art therapy with victims of human trafficking, beads providing for children's education in Uganda, and much, much more.
