Beatrice Brusic:
My aunt shaped my life. I was born in Bolivia and she sent me to America, seeing since I was a child that this is where I belonged.
Have you experienced something that changed your life?
The trip here changed my life forever. And the person who had the vision for me to lead a better life deserves all the credit.
What is a quote you live by or like to repeat?
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. I've always tried to live this way and with no regrets.
Diana Rinkoff:
The catalyst for my journey has been the teachings of my spiritual mentor Anke Nowicki. For the last 14 years under Nowicki’s compassionate guidance a group of six other women and I have explored the path of authenticity: discovering our Essential Selves, asking the question “Who we are not” to explore a path of liberation.
Have you experienced something that changed your life?
My interest in the subject of belief systems was stimulated by my personal journey. For the last 14 years, I have been on a journey dedicated to discovering my authenticity: discovering my Essential Self. Throughout this journey, I continually ask the question, “Who am I not?” I have used the process of constantly stripping away that with which I am identified, that which I was holding, and the foundation on which I based my beliefs. It has been a slow journey because for me, as for others, it is human nature to resist dropping one’s identity. But only by doing so, by going through that slow and painful process have I been able to reveal myself in a different light, my true essence.
