This is our latest installment in our series of speaking with folks who've gone from making fan trailers and mashups to being rising stars in the trailer industry. On this episode, we have both Joel Walden of Mark Woollen + Assoc. and Lyle Goodale of Giaronomo. Joel's had several standout projects including work on I'M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS, JOJO RABBIT and HIGH LIFE among others. Lyle's also contributed to great pieces on campaigns for WESTWORLD, INGRID GOES WEST, LIFE, DON JON and many more.

Kate Cox and Gregg Ostrin are two of the most prolific writers in the entertainment advertising industry. Kate has spent her career as a freelance writer working for many agencies, mini-majors and major studios. She shares about her early work such as how she collaborated on the campaign for PLATOON, as well as more recent projects like with FOCUS FEATURES. Gregg is a staff writer at InSync PLUS. Gregg reveals much about how he got into the industry, developed his process and the discipline to moonlight as a writer of screenplays, tv shows and stage plays.

On this episode we have both Miguel Branco and Clark Zhu. They are both rising star trailer editors - Miguel is cutting at Rogue Planet and Clark is at Wild Card. Miguel and Clark were both doing fan trailers and mashups as passion projects before they ever got into the trailer industry. Their stuff online got a ton of attention, justifiably so, because they're really good. In both their cases, they were able to turn their passion into their profession and represent the next generation of great creative contributors to the industry.

Ricky Strauss has worked at the highest levels of both Entertainment Marketing AND is a prolific film producer. He's also had a significant impact on our culture. Ricky's work as President of Participant Media brought groundbreaking, conversation-starting films that have had lasting impact on the way we think about important issues in our world. More recently in his role as President of Content and Marketing at Disney+, a key figure in its immensely successful launch, he helped us as audiences adapt to what's possible in terms of excellence in content and navigating through these uncertain times. You could say Ricky's helped to shape how we experience content, has helped to raise our expectations for how good of an experience it can be and how profound of an impact on our culture content can have.

Craig Murray started out writing copy for Disneyworld in the mid 70s before working for Disney's film studio as a writer in creative advertising. Then in 1986, Craig got an opportunity to work on trailers from concept to completion - thus the beginning of Craig Murray Productions, aka CMP, and later Mocean which has gone on to earn Entertainment Agency of the Year 3 times over.
