As a coach and as a host that has interviewed well over 70 high performing people I have found that a lot of people have excuses for about everything. "Hey why are you here late?" "ummmm my shoes didn't have show laces so I went to the store to by them, then got a flat tire, and then my car blew up, so I went to by another one, but couldn't cause My credit score is crap, so I took the bus and I fell asleep on the bus and missed my stop twice, and now I'm here." We create excuses for everything in life that we failed at, didn't have enough courage to even try, and because we never want to be the one to blame. With your health, progress, physique, it is no ones fault but YOURS!
My number one goal in life is to inspire people to believe in themselves. I do this by giving the human body the amazing things it needs to be great when it comes down to food, movement, mental strength, and recovery. I've said many things to inspire, motivate, and educate people, but in this episode I take off all sugar coating. I take away all the smiles, hugs, and kisses. Sometimes we need to hear the truth even if it "hurts our feelings". When it comes to YOUR health, you better be hard on yourself because your health will be hard on you!
