This Week on Trapping Across America we are with Chip from the great state of Mississippi. He is the big pan guy. He builds big pans for several traps. His company is Expand-A-Pan. Go Big or Go Home. We start off the show getting to know Chip and his big pans he has on the marketing through Okie Cable And Trap. This is a two-part show. As most of you know, I have trapped for deer and turkey guys all over the country. Predator Control is my business. We are going to go over a business model that some of you will not like, some will find it interesting and a few will make some grown up money with this model based in Permaculture. It is a way that anyone that wants to learn a better way for land owners to design food plots. This way a trapper can have a summer business that will land them some great trapping grounds. Even if you don’t follow my advice, you will hear how to work through a business idea.

This week on Trapping Across America we have a fun and interesting show with Andy Weiser from Weiser Western Lures. He started out in Ohio and ended up out west trapping coyotes. I love this story for one major reason, Andy wanted to be a western coyotes trapper and he just went for it. Now that takes a steel pair! One thing I liked about how Andy traps is non-complicated and down to earth. He really seems to know predators and coyote locations.

This Week on Trapping Across America I am talking about full-time trapping. Is it for you? That is up to you to decide. I was going to do a demo on this subject at Little Valley, but was not able to make it. I wish I could have and I was looking forward to it. The reason I could not make it to Little Valley is because I broke a few of my ribs unloading my van from NTA. Trapping full-time is a dream for a lot of trappers. It can be a great life for the right folks and a nightmare for some. It is best to go into full-time trapping with your eyes open, not closed as you dream about it.

In this week's episode, we have a long time friend of the show, Chip Davis joins Jeff Dunlap this week to discuss the NTA convention in Harrisonburg, VA. Chip interviews Rusty Kramer, incoming president for the NTA.
