Treasured Truth

Pastor Ford points out that there are some individuals who don’t want anything to do with Jesus because of what somebody who knows Jesus did to them. He’ll share with us how we should respond to this type of criticism from unbelievers.

As we begin to take a look at criticism, Pastor Ford encourages those of us who are being criticized to just let God handle it. Don’t retaliate. We should learn to evaluate the criticism, but let God deal with our critics, because eventually He will.

As we conclude the Success God’s Way series, Pastor Ford challenges us to realize that when we give to God, He’s not trying to take something from us. But rather, He’s trying to give something to us. We have to position ourselves to where we can get what God has for us. He’s not talking about giving to get. He’s talking about following Biblical principles.

Pastor Ford asks us today to consider this question: “Is what’s in your hand, what’s in your heart when you give to God?” He wants us to be aware that what’s in our hands when giving, is actually an indication of what’s in our hearts and reflects our attitudes toward God.

Satan has always challenged the authority of God. One way he does this is by attacking God’s Word. Why? Pastor Ford explains that Satan starts there because if he can undermine the Word of God, then he can easily undermine God Himself in the lives of His people.

As we begin the final message in our Success God’s Way series, Pastor Ford reminds us that our giving should be in reverence for God, regulated by God, and will be rewarded through God. If we can trust our eternal souls to God, we can surely trust our temporal money to God.

Today, Pastor Ford encourages us to position ourselves where God can do what He wants to do in our lives. By doing so, we are allowing ourselves to be blessed by God, whenever and however He chooses for it to happen. All we have to do is focus on living our lives to honor Him. It’s another great reminder for us all, on the next Treasured Truth.

As we continue the Success God’s Way series, Pastor Ford explains that the average Christian makes Jesus Christ “Lord of the Leftovers” because everyone else gets the cake, but He gets the crumbs. Today, we’ll be reminded that we should honor God with all that we have, not with just what we have left over.

Pastor Ford reminds us today that we’re instructed to have confident, complete and consistent dependence on God. Instead of trying on our own to move the obstacles in our lives, if we’re trusting God, we’ll wait until He moves them and lets us know that it’s time to move forward.
