In this weeks episode I am joined by Montana Buffington. Montana has made quite a name for himself in the competition world hunting "off-colored" hounds. His male Plott Copper put him on the map and they have quite the list of accomplishments that we go over. While Montana likes his off-colored hounds including Leopard Hounds as well, he isn't color blind. He has hunted and handled just about all the coonhound breeds. In this weeks episode I am joined by Don Bonsett. Don has been a longtime Treeing Tennessee Brindle fancier. Don's tells us a little history on the breed as well as he found his way tyo them. The Treeing Tennesse Brindle is a small breed in comparison to some of the other cur breeds but has a very loyal following. In this week's episode, I am joined by Kenneth Laroux better known as Chooch. Chooch has been following a dog in pursuit of some sort of game his entire life. Growing up deep in the swamps of Louisiana hunting and trapping were a part of his everyday life. As he got older coon hunting became his passion and especially with a fine black dog. Chooch has been in love with the breed ever since. We talk about breeding, hunting, and showing these hounds to improve a breed. In this episode I am joined by Fletcher Ladner of Rotten Bayou Kennels. Fletcher has been hunting and breeding feist since the mid 90's. What started out with a female being bred to some yard dogs created a successful line for Fletcher and his buddy Harry. Even after getting out Fletcher managed to track down some descendants of his old dogs and was able to pick up where he left off.    Now he is looking to the future and hopes one of his sons will take over one day.
