Mr. Larke is a corporate director at Topaz Energy, Headwater Exploration & Vermilion Energy - and previous roles include Operating Partner and Advisory Board member with Azimuth Capital Management Inc., Managing Director and Executive Committee member with Calgary-based Peters & Co. from 2005 to 2015, and prior thereto, was Vice-President and Director with TD Newcrest from 1997 to 2005.
Mr. Larke has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from the University of Calgary and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations.
Mr. Dave Szybunka is Senior Portfolio Manager & Managing Director, Energy Team at Canoe financial, has 17 years’ experience in portfolio management and energy equities analysis.
Previously, he worked at Rayne Capital as the Head Energy Portfolio Manager.Prior to that, David was Associate Portfolio Manager on the Canoe Energy team.
His career in the energy industry started as a Financial Analyst with Peters & Co, a Calgary-based energy investment dealer.David has a Bachelor of Commerce (finance) from the University of Alberta and is a CFA Charterholder.

This episode we are joined by Mr. Curtis Stange - CEO of ATB Financial - a Crown owned financial institution based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - with approximately 5300 team members, 825,000 clients and a balance sheet of ~$62 billion.
Mr. Stange was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of ATB Financial on June 30, 2018, and has more than 35 years of experience in financial services in Canada.
Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Stange held a number of senior leadership roles at ATB Financial, as well as at one of Canada’s big five banks - gaining experience in retail, wealth management and commercial banking throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
Mr. Stange is a Stanford alumnus, member of the Alberta Business Council, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Western Executive Council, chairs the ATB Subsidiary board, serves on advisory boards for the Edmonton International Airport, Visa Canada, Axis Connects, Advancing Women Executives in Western Canada and he co-chairs the STARS Air Ambulance board.

This episode we are joined by Mr. Ian Dundas - Board Member & advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Chord Energy - a Houston based energy company listed on New York Stock Exchange, with a market cap of ~$8 billion.
Mr. Dundas previously served as a Director and President & Chief Executive Officer of Enerplus Corporation until its combination with Chord Energy in May 2024.
Mr. Dundas joined Enerplus in 2002 as Vice-President of Business Development, responsible for corporate acquisition and divestment strategies. In 2011, Mr. Dundas was appointed Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw the development and execution of Enerplus’ operational strategies, strategic planning, marketing and reserves, as well as acquisitions and divestments.
Prior to joining Enerplus, Mr. Dundas held several executive positions in the merchant banking business, where he helped oil and gas companies grow by accessing the funding and expertise they required.
Mr. Dundas has been an active volunteer in numerous charitable endeavors and was Co-chair of the Calgary YMCA Power of Potential campaign.
Mr. Dundas holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Laws (Distinction) from the University of Alberta. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1995.
Mr. Dundas is also a board member of I.S. Energy.

This episode we are joined by Mr. Charlie Locke - Owner of the Lake Louise Ski Resort, and the Locke Stock & Barrel Company Ltd. which includes (among other investments) ranching interests & oil and gas production in the Bearspaw Area, west central Alberta, and in Montana.
Mr. Locke was also one of Canada’s leading climbers and ski mountaineers during the 1960s and 1970s, which included pioneering climbs on the North Face of Mount Temple, the Ten Peaks at Moraine lake, the Great Divide Ski Traverse from Jasper to Lake Louise in 1967, and over 40 first ascents of Alberta and British Columbia peaks.
Mr. Locke also earned a commerce degree from the University of Calgary.

This episode we are joined by Mr. Scott Saxberg - President and Chief Executive Officer of Cache Island Corp., a private energy company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Before founding Cache Island, Scott was a Co-Founder of Crescent Point Energy and was President and CEO of the company from 2003 to 2018.
Under his direction, Crescent Point grew from 275 boe/day in 2001 to 180,000 boe/day by 2018. Through Scott’s tenure, the company distributed over $7.5 billion in dividends and reached a market capitalization of more than $18 billion.
In addition, Scott runs his family office, Icebook Investments Corp., that focuses on direct investments in early stage startups. Icebook is currently invested in over 12 early stage companies across a variety of industries including energy tech, retail, real estate, communications, cannabis, e-gaming and fertility.
Scott’s lifelong passion for hockey led him to become a co-owner of the NHL hockey team the Arizona Coyotes between 2013-17.
Along the way, Scott has received notable recognition, including being named as one of the E&Y’s Top 40 Under 40, awarded the 2009 Producer of the Year in Oilweek magazine and named the 2011 Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year.
Mr. Saxberg earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
