- Do you avoid certain aisles of the supermarket, social events, or even bringing certain foods into the house to avoid temptation?
- Are you constantly thinking about food (especially specific “forbidden” foods), and worrying about what you will or won't eat? Does food consume a major portion of your brain space?
- Do certain foods "call" to you? If you know they're in the house, do you find yourself constantly thinking about them?
- Do you lock your cabinets … or recruit friends and family to help hide food from you so you won’t eat it?
In this talk, we’ll help you understand WHY all of this is happening, so you understand how certain foods become triggering, and how to stop reinforcing that pattern. We’ll also share a safe, non-restrictive way to handle trigger foods and why it works. Finally, we’ll share how to make yourself “un-triggerable” so you can feel safe and peaceful in any food environment.
