August 5, 2023 - 37 year old Rachel Morin is reported missing. Less than 24 hours later her body is found near a local hiking trail, the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air, Maryland.  The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in identifying the suspect in relation to the homicide of Rachel Hannah Morin.  The unknown male is approximately 5′ 09″, 160 pounds, 20-30 years of age, dark hair, muscular build, and is believed to be of Hispanic descent.  A photo of the suspect was captured six months ago.  We will post this photo on our social accounts.  This individual is believed to have ties to the Los Angeles area and may have been involved in violent crimes in other states. Anyone who can identify this unknown male, or has additional information, is asked to contact the Harford County Sheriff’s Office at 1-410-836-7788 or [email protected]

In early 1998 Woodlawn High School senior Hae Min Lee started dated fellow classmate Adnan Syed.  The two had a pretty serious relationship but by Christmas of that year the relationship was through.  Hae broke things off with Adnan and then she started dating another guy.  On January 13, 1999 - Hae Min Lee was reported missing by her family.  Less than a month later her partially buried body was discovered in Leakin Park.  In 2000 Hae’s former boyfriend Adnan Syed was convicted of her murder.  Join Nic & The Captain in the garage as they invite their friends Bret & Alice from the Prosecutors podcast in for a discussion about this very complicated case.

10 years ago a man walked into a Lane Bryant clothing store posing as a delivery man. He announced a holdup and began taking women to a back room where they were bound with tape. One of the brave ladies managed to call 911. The robbery escalated and turned very violent. Before fleeing he shot all six ladies. Despite police arriving on the scene within minutes of the 911 call the killer managed to get away. Police have spent millions of dollars trying to catch this man. The Boardman Murders Update /// Part 2 /// 693

Last year we covered the unsolved murders of three boys.  The murders all occurred in Boardman, Ohio in the early 1970’s.  Those episodes are #567 to #570 on your Garage Radio Dial.  In 2023 these three cases that remained unsolved for over fifty years, detectives made big breaks in two of the cases.  Please join us this week for a couple of happier days in the Garage and we discuss the big breaks, the updates and finally getting the answers for the families and this wonderful community that has been haunted for decades by the killings of three of there own.  If you have any further information regarding this case please reach out to the good detectives of the Boardman PD @ 1-330-726-4144
