True Crime Guys

Lauren Agee was a 21 year old from Tennessee who was found dead in a cove at Centre Hill Lake in Nashville. It was Wakefest (wakeboarding festival centered around beer and partying) on the weekend of July 25th to 27th, 2015. The official file reads: that, after consuming a large quantity of alcohol, Lauren fell off the cliffside where she was camping with friends and into the water below. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma with possible drowning.” There ya go, case closed, don't worry about the weird bruising, strong possibility of rape, and the fact that her friends seemed completely unfazed by her death….Nope, the authorities have listed her case as "death due to misadventure", stating they do not believe any foul play was involved….we strongly disagree.

It was a crime that united two nations…in despair. The case of Tatsuya Ichihashi and his victim Lindsay Hawker. This case reached nationwide status when, after killing Hawker, Tatsuya went on the run, even obtaining plastic surgery and hiding in a WW2 bunker to avoid detection, and it would take police years to catch him….2 and a half to be exact.

So, apparently there's this guy, Howard Arthur Allen, he was an American serial killer from Indianapolis, Indiana. Who also committed all of his crimes in Indianapolis, Indiana, and during a lifetime of shitting where he ate, he unfortunately murdered three people and ultimately received the death penalty, but it was overturned due to mental retardation.

The Kray twins Ronnie and Reggie, and their lesser known brother Charlie, ran the streets of London's East End in the 1960s — and they took quite a bit of inspiration from their American organized crime counterparts. Ronnie and Reggie Kray, are arguably the most infamous criminals in London’s gangster history. The Kray Twins weren’t the type to keep a low profile, they were known for everything from armed robberies to arson to pinning a man to the floor by his neck with a knife, all while hanging and working with politicians and celebrities. But the two had a lot of demons and ultimately became their own downfall. So let's get into the quick rise and fall of two of London’s most notorious gangsters.

After a woman living in a hotel in Florida was raped, viciously beaten, and left for dead near the Everglades in 2005, the police investigation quickly went cold. But when the victim sued the Airport Regency, the hotel hired a PI to get to the bottom of it.  The main question…. How had the 21-year-old blonde disappeared from her room, unseen by security cameras in the first place?

Axel Rudakubana was convicted of the murders of three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance studio in Southport, Wales. He was said to be an introvert with a background in musical theatre. But that's not all...By the time he carried out the brutal murders of three young girls, he was well known to police, anti-extremism authorities including “Prevent” and a number of other public agencies. The government says more than a few opportunities were missed to stop him from turning his dark obsessions into a reality. This is what we know about his journey to becoming a killer - and whether it could have been Prevent-ed.

In this episode we’re talking about a Mexican serial killer who rode freight trains across the U.S., Ángel Maturino Reséndiz. Media nicknamed him the Railroad Killer, and he was at one point the FBI’s most wanted fugitive.

The FBI linked Resendiz to 15 murders across several states in the 1990s — with only one survivor to tell the tale. Reséndiz escaped capture several times by being voluntarily deported back to Mexico, it would take the FBI and the Railroad Killer’s own sister to finally bring him down in 1999.
