  • A house in flames_ a teen in a wheelbarrow_ and a twisted plot uncovered _ Full Episode
    DESCRIPTION:
A 15-year-old boy strangled his mother for 30 minutes after an argument over a D grade. Then he used a wheelbarrow to load her body into the family van, drove to a church, and buried her beneath a fire pit. Hours later, he called 911 to report a burglary and his mother missing, giving what he later bragged was an "award-winning performance" to the dispatcher.
Gregory Ramos recruited two friends to help stage the crime scene and dispose of the evidence. Police grew suspicious when they noticed scratches on his face. Under questioning, he confessed to the murder, the staged burglary, and the burial. He told detectives he dreamed of becoming a homicide detective one day.
The Volusia County Sheriff called him one of the "top three sociopaths" he had ever encountered. In 2020, Ramos pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to 45 years in prison. Listen if you dare.

  • Officer kills the pregnant mother of his child and stages the scene _ True Crime News Full Episode
    DESCRIPTION:
A former Stoughton police officer is accused of strangling a 23-year-old woman and staging her death to look like a suicide. Sandra Birchmore was found dead in her Canton apartment in February 2021 with a duffel bag strap around her neck. Her death was quickly ruled a suicide within an hour, before any DNA was collected and before surveillance footage was reviewed. But her family refused to accept it.
Three years later, federal prosecutors charged Matthew Farwell with killing Birchmore and her unborn child. They say he groomed her through a police youth program starting when she was 15, carried on a secret sexual relationship for years, and killed her when she threatened to tell his wife about the pregnancy. The medical examiner has since changed the manner of death from suicide to "undetermined." Farwell's DNA was found on the strap. His trial begins in October. He has pleaded not guilty.

  • Racquetball instructor affair turns deadly_ Daughters trying to solve mom_s murder
    DESCRIPTION:
Fabio Sementilli was a beloved hairstylist to Hollywood's biggest names and a mentor to thousands in the beauty industry. On January 23, 2017, his teenage daughter found him stabbed and beaten next to the swimming pool of their Los Angeles home. At first, investigators suspected a robbery gone wrong. But Fabio's Rolex was still on his wrist, and the only thing missing was his Porsche.
What detectives uncovered was a conspiracy built on an 18-month affair between Fabio's wife, Monica Sementilli, and her racquetball instructor, Robert Baker. Prosecutors say Monica shared her home security password, left a door unlocked, and fed Baker the details he needed to carry out the murder. Baker was captured on camera jogging toward the house with an accomplice, then fleeing in Fabio's stolen Porsche.
Baker pleaded no contest to murder and is serving life without parole. In April 2025, Monica Sementilli was found guilty of first-degree murder and conspiracy. She was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Fabio's daughters—including the one who found his body—had supported their stepmother throughout the trial. In a separate and still-unsolved case, Mary Morgan Pewitt's two daughters came home from a sleepover and found their mother stabbed to death on her bed. They are still searching for answers.
