Epiphany Eve.🔮😳🕯🪞😱😈
    😱😬😲😅
According to popular belief, Epiphany Eve, the evening of 18 January, the famous "Epiphany evening", is a time when evil spirits are on the loose.
They strive to enter the house in any guise. To protect the home from the penetration of evil forces, place chalk (мел) on all doors and window frames signs of the cross, which is considered protection against everything demonic. The old belief was that if you don't put a cross on the door on Epiphany Eve, there will be trouble. 😈
The night of the eighteenth to the nineteenth of January is considered magical and unique.
Our ancestors believed that it was on this day that you could discover your destiny.
The people used to say: Whatever you predicted on the Epiphany evening (from the 18th to the 19th of January) would surely come true.
Epiphany fortune-telling has been a way of looking into the future for centuries.
You can read fortune-telling about your fiancé, love, relationships and money.
On the morning of the Epiphany, you should wash your face with snow water:
according to a legend, it will make you "white without whites and rouge without blushes".
It is also possible not only to wash, but also to bathe in an ice-hole.
It has long been a custom in Russia to bathe in an ice-hole on Epiphany,
despite the fact that Epiphany frosts were the hardest ones. 😅
