In new investigative reporting and based on leaked flight records, the Guardian reports that the Trump Administration has made 40,000 migrants-- including babies -- effectively "disappear" within the US by creating an elaborate shell game of moving them around 10-12 times and shuttling them between multiple immigration detention centers, cutting them off from their lawyers, family and federal judges and due process. Popok adds to the story by making the connection between the Mayor of Miami (the son of immigrants) and the company that owns the plane charter company that is profiting off of the misery of the migrants being "disappeared".
