President Donald Trump said that former President Joe Biden's 11th-hour pre-emptive pardons of members of the Jan. 6 committee are void because he signed them by autopen. Defenders of the pardons are saying that the autopen is valid, but what Trump may be driving at is that it was even Biden behind the autopen. Broad-sweeping presidential pre-emptive pardons have never been done before-- so is this the edge Trump needs to bring the whole matter before court?
