This is the continuation of an earlier series on transgender books that are designed for children. Together, Mary and Joshua discuss the demonic and pagan implications of transgenderism, and how Christians can respond as faithfull witnesses of Christ.
Is your child’s classroom becoming a new kind of cathedral? Dean Broyles (National Center for Law & Policy) returns to the show to pull back the curtain on the rapid rise of yoga and mindfulness meditation in public schools.
While these practices are often sold as "simple stress relief," the legal and spiritual implications run much deeper. We dive into the intersection of the First Amendment and Eastern spirituality, asking the tough questions:
The Neutrality Myth: Is it possible to strip the religious "DNA" out of yoga and mindfulness?
Legal Frontiers: How religious freedom is being redefined—and challenged—in the modern education system.
The Creator/Creature Distinction: Why these "secular" practices are fundamentally at odds with a biblical worldview.
Today, we're delighted to welcome a very special guest: The Rt. Rev. Eric Menees, Bishop Ordinary of the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). Bishop Menees brings decades of faithful ministry, including his service in Spanish-language congregations, his leadership in border church planting, and his role as a voice for biblical orthodoxy in a rapidly shifting ecclesiastical landscape.
In this episode, Bishop Menees joins the discussion to address some of the pressing challenges facing the ACNA—from navigating internal tensions and questions of unity, to core doctrinal matters like the authority and sufficiency of Scripture, the ongoing debate over women's ordination to the priesthood, and other vital issues at the intersection of theology, tradition, and contemporary culture.
We're grateful for his wisdom and courage as we seek to proclaim and defend the unchanging truth of the gospel in our neo-pagan age. Let's dive in.
In a culture that increasingly trades objective reality for subjective "feelings," where is the line drawn between education and coddling? In this episode of the TruthXchange Podcast, hosts Joshua Gielow and Mary Weller sit down with Dr. Everett Piper.
Dr. Piper, the former president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University and author of the best-seller Not a Daycare, has spent decades on the front lines of the battle for the American mind. Together, they explore the devastating consequences of abandoning Twoism—the biblical distinction between the Creator and the creation—for the seductive, self-focused "Pagan Pill" of Oneism.
The State of the Student: Why today’s incoming freshmen are more "fragile" than ever and how a lack of worldview "fences" leads to cultural anxiety.
The Crisis in Higher Ed: How the "Oneist" blurring of boundaries has turned universities from seekers of truth into centers of indoctrination.
A Call to Parents: Essential advice for families navigating the "demographic cliff" and the high stakes of choosing a university that honors the Truth.
Romans 1:25 in 2025: How Dr. Piper’s viral message connects to the core mission of TruthXchange—exposing the exchange of the Truth of God for a lie.
Dr. Everett Piper is a national leader in the fight for academic freedom and biblical integrity. A contributing columnist for The Washington Times and a frequent guest on FOX News, Glenn Beck, and The Tucker Carlson Show, Dr. Piper is known for his viral op-ed, "This Is Not a Day Care, It’s a University." He was also a featured speaker at the TruthXchange 2011 Think Tank, "The Oneist Pagan Pill." https://dreverettpiper.com/
In this episode of the TruthXchange Podcast, Joshua Gielow and Mary Weller welcome Rev. Ben Glaser of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church for a timely and eye-opening conversation on racial realism—a rising ideology gaining traction among young men and even appearing within local churches. Rev. Glaser recounts his experience addressing this issue on the floor of the ARP General Synod, the unanimous adoption of his statement rejecting racial superiority, and why multiple Reformed denominations have since followed suit. Together, the hosts and Rev. Glaser explore the cultural pressures fueling this movement, its theological errors, the danger of “racial complementarianism,” and how Scripture gives Christians a far better, more faithful way to understand race, identity, and unity in Christ.
Joshua Gielow and Mary Weller interview Ashley Lande, author of "The Thing that Would Make Everything Okay Forever: Transcendence, Psychedelics, and Jesus Christ." Ashley shares her powerful testimony of how she went from being a Methodist church attendee to rejecting Christianity, becoming addicted to LSD and embracing New Age spirituality, before ultimately finding salvation in Christ.
• Ashley's journey from teenage rebellion against Christianity to psychedelic addiction
• The spiritual dangers and false promises of psychedelics and New Age practices
• How yoga and Hindu philosophy reinforced her oneist worldview
• The moment a children's book exposed the nonsense of her pantheistic beliefs
• Why psychedelics cannot deliver on their transcendent promises
• The difference between seeking spiritual highs versus God's ordinary means of grace
• How becoming a mother challenged her New Age beliefs about reality
• The current cultural trend toward psychedelics and signs of growing disenchantment

Joshua and Mary conclude our in-depth series on the five points of Gospel Truth / Pagan Lies, a hallmark framework for grasping the Romans 1:25 paradigm at the heart of cultural analysis and worldview apologetics. This series equips listeners with the theological and intellectual tools needed to discern today’s dominant ideologies through a robust biblical lens.

The lecture “Holy Bodies, Transformed Minds” — based on Romans 12 — explores what it means for Christians to live wholly for God, both in body and in thought. It draws especially from Romans 12:2, where Paul urges believers not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewal of their minds, so they may discern and live out God’s perfect will.
This teaching recognizes that the command sounds simple but can feel overwhelming in practice. Many Christians, upon reading Paul’s words, instinctively turn it into a self-improvement checklist: “Stop conforming. Renew my mind. Learn discernment.” The lecture, however, reframes that mindset entirely.
Dr. Jones emphasizes that our transformation is not a self-generated effort—it is a response to God’s mercy and a work made possible through Christ’s holiness, not our own striving. In other words, we don’t achieve holiness by trying harder; we live it out as we are renewed by the Spirit.
“If all roads lead to the top of the mountain, why did Jesus die to open just one?”
In this third conversation of Gospel Truth and Pagan Lies, Joshua and Mary tackle one of the most popular—and seductive—ideas in modern spirituality: that all religions are essentially the same.
From yoga studios to YouTube gurus, from celebrity interviews to neighborhood coffee chats, the mantra of our time is “all religions are one.” People say, “Every religion has part of the truth,” “We’re all climbing the same mountain,” or “It doesn’t matter what you call God as long as you’re sincere.”
Joshua and Mary unpack where this idea comes from, why it appeals to our culture, and how it directly contradicts the gospel of Jesus Christ.
