A federal judge sentenced Jose Inez Garcia Zarate to seven years of time served for the shooting death of a woman on Pier 14 in San Francisco. Zarate is undocumented and had illegally returned to the US several times prior to the deadly shooting. Trump's endorsement of Kevin McCarthy for re-election has angered some of his MAGA base. The first public hearing of the Jan. 6th committee will air during primetime on Thursday.
