Pb: Na tranquila manhã de uma primavera em São Paulo, o sol brilhava intensamente sobre o condomínio fechado.
En: On the tranquil morning of a spring day in São Paulo, the sun shone intensely over the gated community.

Pb: Casas elegantes com jardins bem cuidados e jacarandás floridos serviam de cenário para a competição anual de decorações natalinas.
En: Elegant houses with well-kept gardens and blooming jacarandas served as the backdrop for the annual Christmas decoration competition.

Pb: Rafael, já na frente da sua casa moderna, estava determinado.
En: Rafael, already in front of his modern house, was determined.

Pb: Ele segurava uma caixa repleta de enfeites, enquanto olhava com desdém para a casa de Gabriela, sempre impecável e pronta antes de qualquer um no bairro.
