  • Chat number 23: Jen: A clinical psychotherapist and course lecturer

Jen looked to everyone around her as a successful, happy, local business woman, wife and mother; but the truth was really quite different.

Which meant in her late 30s she did a full career u-turn and embarked down the unusual path of psychotherapy. In doing so, Jen has changed EVERYTHING for herself. Not only is she now happy - genuinely happy - but she is absolutely thriving in life.

    Please meet Jen.

  • Chat number 22: Jo: A sustainability champion and plant-based cafe owner

Jo is bursting with positivity, drive and a passion for progressive sustainability; and through this she already has quite a 'following' .

Brought up by loving, progressive parents, Jo hasn't put any of that nurturing to waste and she's spent her education and her adult life focusing on planet earth and working in ecological and charitable roles that will help to sustain it. And given she's soon to be a parent herself, it will be interesting to see how that translates into her own future generation(s) approach to the same.

    Please meet Jo.

  • Chat number 21: Natasha: A drama-schooled MD Boss of a Building and Construction Business

It is Natasha's tenacity, bravery, and her innate drive to succeed that has got her to where she is.

She put the hours in (to an industry she originally had no intention of being a part of), made sure that she fully understood how the business and industry worked, bottom to top; made sure that she had great relationships throughout the business, before in effect, staging a leadership take-over.

She's the MD because she wanted to be the MD; she believed she could do it, and was brave enough to almost demand it.

    Please meet Natasha.

  • Chat number 20: Sally: A wonderful 20+ year A&E and Paediatric Nurse

Sally has channeled all of her innate passion and drive into something utterly positive and utterly remarkable... Nursing.

She saves people's lives (and/or at the very least, makes them feel a hell of a lot better), every single day. Every single shift. And not just people, kids. She saves kids.

Sally has allowed herself to see horrors that would make the rest of us cry in a corner, in order to be able to heal.

She's remarkable. Just like her amazing nursing colleagues.

    Please meet Sally.

  • Chat number 19: Laura: A very dedicated, diligent and highly experienced driving instructor

Laura's approach and her diligence is absolutely 100% aligned with the TWW values of hard work, commitment to cause, and strong morals.

Because Laura could do her job with a lot less effort; thousands of instructors surely do. But she doesn't. She keeps meticulous notes to make sure every lesson is as effective as it can be, and she tailors every lesson plan to the student's unique learning needs. Which is pretty amazing, right? Particularly when you consider she's been doing this for over 17-years!

    Please meet Laura.

  • Chat number 18: Clare: A brilliantly big-hearted NHS Physiotherapist

Clare's story is lovely, because she's lovely. As an NHS Physio (and let's be honest about it), she's sacrificing her own wealth and income to work there as opposed to moving to the private sector, like lots of other physios do. Sincerely no judgement on those that do, but Clare is staying in the NHS because she cares - really cares - about people, and wants to help them to feel better. And because she wants to part of something more important than her own career.

    Please meet Clare.

  • Chat number 17: Katie: A brave, talented Pub Landlady and community champion

Fun is 100% at the heart/core of the 'Genever' brand; be that as farmers, or in Katie's case, as a fabulous Pub Landlady.

Also at their core is hard work, community and quite simply, care. Care for others, care the for the village, the land, the community. Katie and her family are people that really care beyond themselves and as such they're a huge inspiration to me, and to many others.

    Please meet Katie.

PS. The background noise you can hear is the pub on a weekday lunch shift. Which we happen to love and think is perfectly fitting for the chat. However, if it annoys you, apologies, but please don't give up on it; Katie has a great story to tell, so bear with it.

  • Chat number 16: Lyndsay: A fab human and a hugely talented photographer

Lyndsay is incredibly hard working; anyone that's worked with her knows this. But what we didn't realise (until our chat) is the full extent of that work ethic, and certainly not that it started from such a young age.

She is a photographer born and bred; it's all she's ever done and all she knows, and that shows in her work. Her creative eye and her attention to detail are second to none and when it came to having her own ugly mug shot, there wasn't anyone else Chops trusted to do it.

    Please meet Lyndsay.
