Bart Torvik's updated 2024-25 college basketball projections are out, and we discuss the top 25 programs and a few who just missed the cut. Three Big 12 schools cracked the top four, with Houston at the top followed by Duke, Iowa State, and Kansas.

UConn unexpectedly came in at No. 12, failing to make the top ten while coming off back-to-back national championships. The Big Ten did not have a single school in the top 15, but had four programs in a row from 16-19 in Purdue, Illinois, Michigan State, and Rutgers.

The top 25 also included Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats at No. 23, Mick Cronin's UCLA team at No. 24 as they head into the Big Ten, and Shaka Smart and Marquette at No. 25. A few surprising teams not in the Top 25 included Kansas State (30) Florida (35) and Arkansas (36) while San Diego State took a huge fall and is down at 76.
