My guest this week is Ian Keldoulis, co-author of Unblinded: The Startup That Launched a Revolution in Saving Sight. He wrote the book with Dr. David Guyer, chronicling the founding of Eyetech Pharmaceuticals in 2000. They developed Macugen, the first effective treatment for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a disease that once blinded millions in their later years.
