Two ex's, two babies, one abortion and one long distance parent-child relationship, even suicide attempts Brandon is finally reconciling some of the losses and devastation of his broken heart.
He didn't anticipate all the heartache that came his way. He drowned his sorrows in alcohol and ended up with kidney failure! His body knew pain like never before. Yet, he's been resilient and found some peace with his past. Listen to learn more about Brandon's lessons learned.
Heather started to fall head over heels for this new guy. He made her feel like she was the center of the universe and she loved it, until it became intense and painful.
His behavior was manipulative and confusing. Even though she got out, she hasn't been able to shake what happened. Together, Heather and I go off the grid and unpack what happened in another dimension. It's uncomfortable, edgy and liberating!
Lacey's story is quite non-linear.
She started out as a wild college girl whose daily lifestyle included drinking, using drugs and endless partying. Sex was like a sport, a game to win - the more men, the more power, the more she knew she was wanted and desired.
After college, she found herself falling in love with a music dj, Thomas. Thomas was a high school dropout also deep into drinking, drugs and partying. Their love was immediate, within a week they knew they'd get married.
They gave up drinking and drugs for a temporary time together - to cleanse and detox. They even promised to wait to have sex until they got hitched. Not much else changed - they still went to the parties and still chilled with the same friends.
Marriage happened. They invited a woman in to the relationship as a sexual partner. A month passed, they agreed to end it with the paramour. However, Thomas didn't let her go. He started seeing her behind his wife's back.
We get to hear: how Lacey's bad trip on mushrooms was a come to Jesus moment, how she survived emotional abuse, an affair, and the inevitable breakup of her marriage. BUT their story doesn't end there! Thomas recovers from his dark ways and earns a second chance. You could say they have a gift of VICTORY! They are still married, have both done 180's and have a heck of a story!

Molly was happily married. She and her daughters watched the man they knew and loved go through a confusing and painful transformation. His behavior changed, he stopped working, he suffered from chronic pain, he became secretive and forgetful.
No one knew why or what caused all these changes. Eventually, they learned he had alcohol induced dementia. This diagnosis didn't help make things better but it gave some clarity to the circumstance they were now faced with.
The attachments we carry with us to our partner are what bond us. Those attachments also make letting go after a breakup pretty tough, sometimes, near impossible. Is it a matter of the mind or the heart? Could it be both?
Dessa, couldn't let go. "Everyone else seems to be able to do this, why is it so tough for me?". In this short and light-hearted presentation, she shares how neuroscience helped heal her brain.
Enjoy!
Goodness! This is a great story of a woman who went through the "school of life" because of a 6 year relationship with a man who broke her heart 3 times.
Remanda is a strong, determined and "don't quit -> win" kinda girl. When she started dating for the first time she gave 200%. Being from China, her culture affected many of the decisions she made, especially about how to pursue a career, how to see herself and how to value a relationship.
What does it take to finally say goodbye? What can happen to make you give up 6 yrs of history and life together? He promised to show up for her surgery and when the time came - not a whisper of his whereabouts or glimpse of his presence. At first his absence was due to oversleeping from playing video games into the the wee morning hours. Then his absence extending into the next day out of shame and fear for messing up big time! At that point Remanda knew there was no coming back.
Our conversation is extensive. We get to know a lot about her life story which was largely impacted by her first boyfriend. She shares incredible insights, learns a few new things about her past and shares about finding the love of her life in a very non-traditional way.
You will be inspired, you may even want to take notes. If you'd like to learn more about this entrepreneurially compassionate and talented woman please check out her fashion blog https://www.styleright.me and her instagram @stylerightblog.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a relationship and something shifts. That something can be really clear - like losing a job. Or, that something could inexplicable.
Chloe's partner had one of those shifts. He changed his mind and didn't really seem to know it or at the very least communicate it well. The whole life they had built together over 6 years seemed to end in vapors. They find ways to connect with compassion in spite of the hurt and heartache.
