Raul, found love in New York with a partner who seemed to be a dream come true. Raul invested wholeheartedly into the relationship - holding nothing back.
Only one seed of doubt existed in their connection and he sensed it from the beginning. Was Anthony going to be ready? Did he still need time to explore the world as a single man? Anthony is six years younger than Raul. After two years of bliss, Anthony pulled back and said goodbye to what we can only guess was premature Love.
Though Raul found the answer as to why they were going their separate ways, he has had a very difficult time moving on. This episode is a reflection of that love story and a way to gain peace of mind and move one step closer to closure.

The attachments we carry with us to our partner are what bond us. Those attachments also make letting go after a breakup pretty tough, sometimes, near impossible. Is it a matter of the mind or the heart? Could it be both?
Dessa, couldn't let go. "Everyone else seems to be able to do this, why is it so tough for me?". In this short and light-hearted presentation, she shares how neuroscience helped heal her brain.

Will had a good job and a nice house. He was looking for a wife, someone to build a future and a home with. When he met Maddie, they fell fast!
She was a strong, independent woman and knew what she liked. Turns out that was a mask. Beneath the mask he found a woman who was afraid, isolating, and controlling. When he tried to have boundaries their capacity for compatibility started to wane.
This story is fresh and in the details you may find lots of areas that you can relate to. For example, being manipulated, moving for someone or feeling unappreciated, being overly generous and ultimately feeling threatened.
Join Will as he navigates reconciling the loss of love or what he thought would be his future...
When you look at your past, do you see failure? Tracy did. She thought she'd find love by marrying men who'd make her feel at home and like she had a place to belong.
It wasn't working. She always knew she wanted to be married, and discovered that if she could marry herself and be committed, faithful and trustworthy - then she could know love. Her story is sweet and inspiring. No matter what stage of relationship you're in - this is a message that will speak to your heart!

Doesn't heartache feel unfair and like unwanted suffering? When we are rejected, we can feel disoriented. It's hard to know we're loved, that we belong and we are valued. This is the danger of a rough breakup! No matter what you go through, it is never true that you aren't worthy of love. This is when we suffer. We had our partner and we belonged together. When we are no more, there is suffering. How do you shift out of this suffering? Is the answer to be vulnerable? Even when you've put your armor of protection up? Listen to Brene and Oprah share about this idea. I hope you feel inspired and encouraged. Thank you for listening.
