Last year (2020) a hollyoaks suicide storyline saved my life, which involved Ashley Taylor Dawson who plays Darren in the soap. The BBC arranged for us both to meet so I could thank the person who stopped me from taking my own life, it was very overwhelming, yet a delight to actually thank the person who saved me!.
