When did you decide that it's okay to be overweight? When did you decide that’s the standard? When did you decide to define yourself as being overweight? You don't need to do that. If you raise your standard, you can be better at that as well.

So I want to encourage you guys, especially now with the Coronavirus, take a piece of paper Mind Map things out for yourself.

Define who you are as a person. Define that moment. When did you decide it's okay to be in a job that you hate?

When did you decide it's okay to be broke?

When did you decide that? You know, doing what you're doing every single day is not a fun life for you.

When did you decide that that is your standard?

There's also the saying I do love Tony Robbins.And he says this thing that when you say to yourself a highest standard, your life will change. And this is true.

Think of it this way. When did you change something in your life that really made an impact in your life? I mean, I can think of so many, you know, and that is because I raised my standard. I decided

That I'm not going to be the person that I'm going to be. Because I can be better, you know. And I want to encourage you guys, especially now in this Coronavirus, take out a piece of the paper look at it from a 6000-foot view and take a hard look. Am I the person I want to be? Is this the person that I'm defining myself to be?

Can I raise my standards? The answer will be yes, you can.

Because you don't need to be broke. You don't need to be unhappy in a job. You don't need to be overweight, you don't need to be a smoker, you don't need to be a drinker. You don't need to be any of those things. All you need to do is just raise your standards. So I'm encouraging you to please take this time and just become a better version of you that you can be because I know that you're capable of doing exactly that.

I also just want to encourage you guys to let you know to remember there's always room for improvement. You don't need to be the version that you're not happy with.

And that status quo was really important when we were in a survival state, but we're not in a survival state now.

Hi everyone we are back with episode number three of our series. "success habits that you do not learn in college".

Today our episode is about THE PUSH. Now, this sounds a little bit strange but there are three parts to this so within the push there are basically three success habits that you have to adopt in your life number one is taking action number two is to remain positive within that whole process. And then number three is to surround yourself with like-minded people or should I say successful people you know so that's number three.

6:20 Once you've decided to take the reins of your life and take control, a funny thing it is going to happen and it's going to happen no matter what. The people that are around you are going to start getting jealous. People that you thought for sure would be the most supportive when you started your video game company. Those are the folks that will turn on you. And I don't always mean in a bad way that they don't want to be associated with you or anything like that. But when somebody sees somebody else taking the reins of their life, and it's something that they've wanted to do for a long time, but just never had the wherewithal to do it, that will come out. Yes, you have to be ready for it.

13:38 So you really have to decide on a case by case basis, but you do not have to. You do not have to give in but I will tell you this. In a coaching business, you will get a lot. Oh, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. And I mean, you never know but always true. Trying to find and be fascinated with people find humour and fascination with how humans operate and work and talk to each other. I mean, just go to the grocery store and have a listen on how people connect and comment and talk to one another. It's crazy sometimes the level of anger and, and hate people have for one another in their undertones when they're talking to others or whatever.

18:20 Okay, let's go on to number 3. Which is surround yourself with positive people.

This is so big. You are a product of your environment, you're not going to create a successful Bible printing business and then you're hanging out with the gangs on the street. After you are going to take a look at the people that you keep company with. Take a look at all of them. If you're an average of the company that you are hanging around, without a doubt, if you want to be a successful entrepreneur, that is exactly who you need to be hanging out with. And I'll tell you what, and I don't just mean that for just to look at that from a business standpoint.

23:20 There are growing pains that come along with entrepreneurship that. And I had to relate, I had to remove myself from a relationship because the support wasn't there. It was negative comments constantly. And no matter how much I tried to help that person understand the bigger picture of what I'm building here, it just didn't help. It wasn't enough. And that's not for me to take on. You know, I'm not going to I wasn't going to make that mind.

I'm very excited today I have Mike on my show. He is a podcaster. He's a speaker, a mighty marketer and also an author and a dad. He's going to share his knowledge and his entrepreneurial journey with us today.

1:05 Mike had a job working for a company and I helped the company grow from, six locations to 3600 locations. He poured his heart and soul into that company. And they fired him!! He had no idea that was going to happen and so Mike decided from then on, he was never going to work for somebody else.

5:56 The idea that you know, your LPP your opportunity, your passion and your purpose, and so if you if the opportunity that has presented itself in your life has come to you because it doesn't come to just when you want it to come to you it comes to a different time and a certain time in your life.

8:48 But it's so many things because once you get the ball of creativity and momentum going forward, it, it creates a flood of ideas and excitement. And when you're networking with all of these great people that are similar to you, they have ideas. Some opportunity is everywhere, and ideas are everywhere. But not every idea is the opportunity you should be taking and that's what that's why I was saying open up your opportunity, your passion and your purpose. And then and then they all meet up together. When those 3 things meet together. Then it's something that you should take advantage of, for example, the crisis with the toilet paper at the moment...

30:21 You got it the 80/20 rule, I would just refer to the 8020 rule, though the idea that 80% of the things that you're doing, you know, 20% of your clients are paying for 80% of your, the thing, the 80% of your income comes from 20% of your clients. And, and it's true 20% of my clients that are the ones that I want to keep that are actually providing me with the most income for the least amount of stress. It's like 20% and so once you realise that it becomes a matter of getting rid of the businesses and things that are taking too much of your time.

Going to bed too late: Your reticular activation Centre in your brain is still firing at all cylinders. When you have that screen in front of your face. That's why when you're looking at your phone at night, your body's almost like you're tricking your mind thinking.

Because our mind has two parts. We have a conscious mind and we have a subconscious mind. In conscious of our conscious minds. set our goals. Our conscious mind seeks those goals out 24 hours a day. seven days a week, 365 days a year. It's just like when, you know if I'm telling you, oh, man, I heard this band yesterday.

But when you when I said to you, I saw this band and I want to tell you about it. I was setting the goal with my conscious mind of letting you know about that band. Even though I couldn't remember it at that time, my subconscious mind.

Heard I need to remember that name. And it got to work on it immediately. And it didn't stop until it arrived at the answer. It's the same thing is you really setting yourself up for what you want and what you're going to receive during the day.

So high payoff activities would be activities that are usually directly related. To you bringing an income, at least that's what they are for me. So I have so for the coaching, that's me looking at and getting back to people that want to talk about setting up appointments, or talking about a past appointment, or something having to do with maybe an invoicing issue.

I have a couple of other things that I do outside of coaching that always require my attention first thing in the morning when certain markets open up, he said so those things, they have to be done first high payoff activities directly related to bringing in income after that and then I move more into you know, things, as I talked about you, got to fix issues on my website. These are indirect, indirect activities that are not necessarily related to bringing in income, but they're indirectly related. But those can come later on in the day. If that makes sense.
