A works-based conversion does not provide for, nor lend to, an assurance of salvation. It diminishes and destroys it. Hopefully, today’s episode will help to remove the pressure that says a Christian must work for their salvation, and bring certainty knowing that it is only by a work of the Holy Spirit that we are even able to proclaim “Jesus Is Lord” (1 Cor. 12:3).
