This week we are still in the series where you send me a real-life situation or question and have me respond on an upcoming podcast. Remember I don’t have your answers, you do, however, I might just share a perspective you haven’t thought of and it may just give you some freedom or more growing room. Just email me at [email protected] and I will reply on an upcoming podcast.
This week I am responding to an email I received about how to develop more compassion without feeling like you are “giving in” or “Giving up?”

This week I am responding to an email I received asking this, My experience is there are some people when I choose to walk away or set a boundary, I get a toxic, fire-breathing dragon who is committed to their upset and as I extend the olive branch to leave them in good shape they try to bite my arm off or pull me back into their cave of drama.
My inner "keep the peace" and being a "nice guy" is having a hard time accessing my fierce, direct, and loving voice because I find myself feeling their pain and wanting to be tender rather than tougher. Ok, listen in if you ever have an experience like this one.

This week someone sent me a note about opening up to others with kindness and generosity and then those same people hurting them. They know that closing their hearts isn’t the way, but how to get beyond the hurt is her question?

This week I had several people share with me about a situation where all I could hear is how hard they are on themselves. So today I want to share with you a bit about my thoughts on Grace, and how it is so much more than a prayer or blessing we say at a meal.
