  • iTalk #24 : 21 Days Challenge

Today, I'm celebrating 21 days of daily posting on LinkedIn

You might wonder why I'm making a big deal about 21 days.

Well, let me share the science behind it. In the 1950s, Dr. Maxwell Maltz, a Plastic Surgeon, noticed that his patients took about 21 days to adjust to changes, like a new face or the loss of a limb. He realized that it takes around 21 days to form a new habit or mental image.

In 1960, Maltz published his findings in a book called Psycho-Cybernetics, which became a blockbuster hit, selling over 30 million copies!

And that's what I practiced for 21 days, having interesting experiences to share with you.

I've made three significant discoveries about myself in these 21 days:

    1) I've found my purpose in life! Sharing my experiences and learning from you all brings me joy. As humans, we share basic instincts with animals, but our ability to define purpose sets us apart.

    2) This 21-day practice has helped me build a daily habit of sharing my experiences, and I plan to continue doing so. I hope you'll love it!

    3) The most rewarding part? Reconnecting with old friends, ex-colleagues, and new faces who've appreciated my posts. It's been amazing to rekindle those connections!

Even Today, I've taken a step back to evaluate whether my posts have been worth your time and attention. Because I believe taking a step back is essential to review progress and adjusting our path forward.

It's just like when you're too close to a big picture, you can't see it clearly - but when you step back, it comes into focus.

So, I'm sharing all my posts from the past 21 days for you to explore and pick up one habit that resonates with you.

Try it out for 21 days and see the transformation!

Ans yes, Most videos are about one or one and a half minutes, which means it won't take more than 30 minutes of your day.

Enjoy watching my videos and have a lovely Sunday!"

  • iTalk #23 : A Leap of Courage: Overcoming Fear and Doubt

Let's kick off the weekend by overcoming fear!

    Here's a story that I think you'll love:

Some frogs wanted to climb a big tower. They were scared, but they decided to face their fears and climb together.

When they started climbing, some other frogs came and started teasing them. "You're too weak! You can't do it!"

But one frog didn't listen. He kept climbing and reached the top!

The other frogs asked him, "How did you do it?" But he just smiled and walked away.

Later, his friend told them, "He's deaf. He didn't hear what you were saying."

So, the moral of the story is: if you want to achieve your goals, ignore the people who try to bring you down. Don't listen to their negative words. Keep moving forward and believe in yourself!

Remember, fear is just a voice in your head. Silence it with determination and confidence. You can do it!

    All the best !!!

  • iTalk #21 : Knowledge to Wisdom: The Key to Unlocking #Insights !

Hey, Today it's Wednesday and let's talk about what real Wisdom is ?
Have you ever caught yourself thinking, "I know I should be doing this, but I'm not"?
That's where the gap is , difference between DO I KNOW IT, DO I DO IT?
    Let's break it down:
"Do I Know It?" means the knowledge we acquire on day to day basis from reading, meeting people, gathering some other useful information etc.
    - "Do I Do It?" - But what do we do with that information is actually, where the Wisdom comes in.
It's like the difference between having a map and actually navigating thru !
For example, we all know the value of time management that it can help you boost your productivity, but how many of us actually follow categorizing work, avoiding procrastination and sticking to schedule, a to do list.
    Very Few, right!
So, the next time you're learning something new, ask yourself:
    - Do I Know It? (Have I acquired the knowledge?)
    - Do I Do It? (Am I applying that knowledge in my life?)
By closing the gap between knowing and doing, you can make a meaningful impact in your personal and professional life.
So, Start Doing It.. All the best !

  • iTalk #21 : Timing is Everything: Hit a Six in Life with Perfect Timing!

Hey, have you ever wondered why sometimes even our best efforts don't yield the desired results? It's because we often overlook the importance of timing! Yes, doing things at the right time is crucial.

As the saying goes, "The right thing at the wrong time is the wrong thing."

Think of it like this - in cricket, even a great batsman like Virat Kohli knows that timing is everything. If he tries to hit a six too early or too late, he'll miss the ball or get caught out. But when he times his shot perfectly, the ball soars over the boundary!

Similarly, in life, if we don't time our actions right, even the best intentions can go waste.

Many People look at astrological charts or wait for the "perfect" moment, but the truth is, there's no perfect time. It's about understanding the significance of timing and keeping ourselves at our best all the time.

When we're at our best, every small act becomes significant, and those small acts add up to make a big impact. Remember, small things make a big difference, and big is not always small!

Keep shining, and make every moment count!

    All the best !

  • iTalk #20 : How to Tame Your Mind and Unlock a Positive Life!

Hi, someone asked me yesterday how to build a positive mindset and stay positive in any situation.
It's simple: feed your mind positive inputs and it will have no space for negative thoughts.
It's not easy, coz our mind keeps on wandering around negative side.
Let's try a fun experiment! Close your eyes and try not to think of monkeys for 10 seconds. What happened? Your mind was full of monkeys, right?
That's because mind is wired to focus on what we're told not to think about!
So, how can we control our minds?
The problem lies in negativity, and mind is good at that.
Instead of telling your mind what not to do, try telling it what to do!
Keep feeding your mind positive affirmations and watch your life transform! All the best!
Here's a tip: start your day by telling your mind three things you're grateful for. See what happens!
Remember, aligning your body and mind with positive thoughts is key to unlocking your potential.

  • iTalk #19 : The Power of Now : #Stress to #Serenity

Have you ever wondered why kids are so happy and adults are stressed?
The secret lies in their differing attitudes towards needs and expectations. Kids are deeply attached to their desires, but their emotional connection is short-lived.
They cry, they tantrum, but soon they bounce back, ready to embrace the next moment with the same joy.
Adults, on the other hand, tend to get stuck on unfulfilled expectations. We dwell on what didn't work out, neglecting the present moment and the plethora of possibilities it holds.
We can learn from kids. They don't worry about what didn't happen; they enjoy the moment.
As the saying goes, "Life is what happens when you're busy making plans." So, my dear friends, let's embrace the child mindset and learn to live in the moment.
As I say, Sunday is for Self-Reflection. Take time to reflect on this week's happenings and let go of whatever didn't happen. Look out for new opportunities, challenge yourself, and gear up for the coming week.

  • iTalk #18 : From Failure to Success: The Thomas Edison Way

Do you know, why most people don't take risk, they are afraid of failure!

But for the person who is committed to his goals, there is no such thing called failure.

I remember one name in this context, Thomas Edison, who failed 2774 times according to his records and then reached a working design of an electric light bulb.

And his take on this was "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

When you commit yourself like this to do anything you care for, your thoughts align and your mind works in the same direction, giving you better control over your Emotions, be it success or failure.

When you learn from your mistakes, you grow and improve. You become stronger and more resilient, and also your ability to succeed increases.

My dear friends, you are the creator of your own destiny. So, don't be afraid of failure, rather learn from your failure and keep moving to bring the best out of you.

    All the best!
