Across the world, 151,600 people die each day, and whilst our planet is overpopulated with a whopping 7.7 billion people, it does not make the idea of our mortality any less terrifying to think about. For many of us, we are likely comforted by the fact that when we die, we’ll be missed. Our legacy - however small it may seem - will be passed on amongst those whom we love, and those who love us. But this isn’t the case for everybody - in fact, many people go unidentified, with no one to miss them; mourn them, or even report them missing. And sometimes, bodies remain unidentified due to a lack of discernible facial features, a pair of missing fingertips, or sometimes even an unfound head. In today’s video, we’ll be looking at three unsolved Jane Doe cases that feature severed heads. #coldcase #truecrime #janedoe

Lil Durk suffered another monumental loss over the weekend when his older brother OTF DThang was reportedly shot and k*lled outside of Chicago strip club. Alleged witnesses at the scene said the 32-year-old was shot in the head and died instantly, while a police officer who arrived at the scene was also shot.
Following the news that Lil Durk’s older brother was shot and killed over the weekend, King Von’s uncle is now coming forward to plead with the rapper to stop dissing people in his songs in an attempt to reduce the violence in Chicago.
In an Instagram Live video, Range Rover Hang, the uncle of the late Welcome to O’Block emcee, says that Durk mentioning the name of people on his tracks is what led to his brother being killed. “Durk steady saying these niggas names in songs, like, you don’t have to do that, bro. This what got his brother shot. I’m not going to say killed because I don’t know if he dead,” he said.
Mariah Carey has responded to allegations made by The Sun that she ended her relationship with Roc Nation after an “explosive” fight with label head JAY-Z. In a tweet posted on Monday morning (June 7), Carey denied that a fight between her and Hov ever took place.
“The only ‘explosive’ situation I’d ever ‘get into’ with Hov is a creative tangent, such as our #1 song ‘Heartbreaker,’” she tweeted alongside a clip of the song’s music video.
She added, “To the people who make up these lies I say ‘Poof! — Vamoose, sonofa****’!”
Rumors about a contentious meeting between the two stars first surfaced on Friday (June 4) after The Sun report. According to the British tabloid, Carey and JAY-Z were discussing her future at Roc Nation when the meeting “erupted” and “sparked her decision” to leave the company.

The 31-year-old Nines, real name Courtney Freckleton, was arrested along with another man. The two were due in court on Friday (June 4) where it’s unclear if they’ve been released. He was previously arrested on a conspiracy to supply cannabis charge in 2013 and served five months behind bars.

People were counting on 6ix9ine to come out of his cave to troll Lil Durk following the tragic news of his older brother DThang’s murder. Right on cue, the polarizing rapper popped up in Akademiks’ comment section on Sunday (June 6) to leave some tasteless remarks about Lil Durk’s latest loss.
“@lildurk tell the truth about yo Gang man they really dyin,” he wrote alongside several laughing emojis. “@lildurk stop the senseless violence.” From there, he moved over to The Shade Room and left a sarcastic “RIP” under a post about DThang’s death.
6ix9ine has been taunting Lil Durk for months, angering several other Chicago rappers in the process.
Shortly after Durk’s Only The Family artist King Von was fatally shot outside of an Atlanta hookah bar last November, 6ix9ine accused Durk of exploiting his death to sell more copies of his mixtape, The Voice.
At the time, the project was on pace to sell roughly 55,000 total album-equivalent units in its first week. Seizing the moment to throw a jab, 6ix9ine made a distasteful comment about King Von that enflamed Von’s friends and fans.
“Used Von name for sales,” he wrote. “Is NOT blackballed has all industry support. 55k and his man was caught in 4K #KingVon REST IN PISS.
Par for the course, the 24-year-old Brooklynite is back at it again, but Lil Durk has yet to publicly respond to his brother’s death or 6ix9ine’s antics.
According to TMZ, Cook County officials confirmed Dontay Banks Jr.— DThang’s government name — was found deceased on the 7900 block of S. Loomis Blvd. in Chicago and has been assigned a case number.
An autopsy still has to be completed to figure out the cause and manner of death, but alleged witnesses at the scene claim he was shot in the head and died instantly. He was 32.
