A fairway wood or a Hybrid club, with the weight at the bottom and large sole plate, are perfect for scraping along the sand and getting your ball out and advanced from a fairway bunker. This week Jeff Smith, one of Golf Magazines Top 100 Teachers, explains how when and how to use a fairway wood or a Hybrid club out of a fairway bunker. He also explains how to properly use the Hybrid clubs and fairway woods from both the rough and the fairway. He explains proper setup, ball position, club position and all the elements to successfully get your ball further down the fairway.
