In today’s third hour, Dom welcomes Maureen Faulkner, widow of slain officer Daniel Faulkner who died at the hands of Mumia Abu Jamal, back onto the Dom Giordano Program. Dom invited Maureen back onto the show after discovering that a new staffer of John Fetterman’s is a huge Mumia advocate, continuing the trend of hiring the lowest of the low for his campaign. Also, Dom reveals that Brown University plans to display the papers and workings of the criminal. Maureen offers her opinion on both revelations, lamenting that her late husband no longer has a voice and the fact that she has to continually suffer through this emotional distress. Dom plays back a caller from yesterday, George, who suggested that the topic is ‘old news’ and Dom is the reason this stays alive, which sets off Maureen.
Then, after playing Dom’s Money Melody, Dom moves back into a conversation centered on politics, telling of a meeting of Washington lawmakers in Philadelphia as they try to determine issues with the USPS after multiple reports of fraud. This leads Dom into a conversation of mail-in balloting, asking how, if we know there to be issues with the Postal Service, liberals continue to double down on the legitimacy of mail-in balloting. Then, Dom offers a potential debate strategy to Dr. Mehmet Oz after John Fetterman agreed to a debate, telling what he believes needs to be the main points of emphasis for the Republican candidate.
