It's been a tumultuous but at the same time quiet offseason for Val Nichushkin. With how his season ended in Seattle, a lot of Colorado Avalanche fans had a lot of questions. They might have even more after Nichushkin posted two images of himself on Instagram. Sporting the Avalanche championship ring, and a gun. Bad optics? Or no big deal?

We also congratulate Joonas Donskoi who announced he will be retiring from the NHL following issues with concussions. While his time in Colorado was not that long, he was a fan favorite and someone who was very easy to root for.
