Sunday Evening, January 20th, 2019 - The Priesthood of the Believer - Pastor Jared Shumate

Have you ever considered yourself a priest? It's not a term that is common in Baptist churches actually. But if you are a Christian, someone who has received the gift of salvation, the Bible calls you a priest. 1 Peter refers to Christians as a "priesthood of believers."

Think about those Old Testament priests and some of the things that marked them as such. They had access to God where they went to Him on behalf of not only themselves of others as well. They were attendants to the Most High God, their lives dedicated to serving Him. They were ambassadors for Him, carrying His banner out to the World.

If you have been saved, then you have been called to be a modern day priest for God! We have access, we are to be His attendants, and His ambassadors! Are you being a good priest for Him today?

Sunday Morning, January 20th, 2019 - When God Makes Haste - Pastor Jared Shumate

Has there ever been a time in your life when you needed God immediately? As in, right now, instantly? I'm sure there has been at least one moment like that for each of us. We might find ourselves in a situation, in a season of life, when we need God to intervene in a way like no other. Maybe it's a financial situation. Maybe it's something with your job. Perhaps it's a marriage matter. Maybe for you there are many of those times.

But most likely we have all been in a situation at some point when we needed God to make haste, to hurry to our side, and intervene in our life. There's an urgency in our prayer when we cry out to God. We need him to intervene and fix it.

David found himself in a similar situation in Psalm 70. He needed God to make haste and intervene in whatever situation he found himself in. David had urgency, but God had a plan! Make no mistake; God has a plan for you too!

Pray for God to make haste today!

Sunday Evening, January 13th, 2019 - We Do Not Labor in Vain - Pastor Jared Shumate

Tonight we watched a special year-in-review video that recapped 2018 for our church. Last year saw a lot of change at our church. Sometimes we were left confused at God's Plan. But we came together as a church family, continued to serve Him and trust in His Plan, and in the end God sent us the man He had planned to be our Pastor.

Nothing we did in 2018 was done in vain. We did not labor in vain. We did not wait in vain. None of it was in vain because God was in the middle of it! He knew all that was happening and knew what He had planned for us.

When God is in the middle of it, we do NOTHING in vain!

Sunday Morning, January 13th, 2019 - The Love of God - Pastor Jared Shumate

2019 is fully underway. Christmas and New Year's are behind us. The stores have already rolled out Valentine's Day decorations and gifts. We are entering into that season of love. So, this morning, let's explore The Love of God!

Pastor Jared shows us that His Love is beyond anything that we can comprehend, and bigger than we could ever imagine. Words can not even begin to brush the surface of the depth of that Love. If you can, imagine in your mind just how long eternity is. Then imagine God's Love being as deep as eternity is long. Our minds can't comprehend it, and no words can adequately express it.

His Love is a lasting, lively, and liberating! Have you experienced His Love today?

Winter Revival 2019 - Wednesday Evening, January 9th, 2019 - Evangelist Brent Carr

When you think of David, which battle do you think of? Most likely you think of his battle with Goliath. It's the most famous of David's battles. But what was David's most important battle? Many Bible scholars consider the battle of Ziklag to be the most important battle, and victory, in David's long and prolific history.

You see, while David and his men were away fighting another battle, on another front, the enemy invaded their home at Ziklag. The Bible says that they burned the city, captured their wives and their families, and raided the city. His men turned against him and wanted to stone him. The men were weak, weary, and tired of fighting. But they had to enter the fray once again to save their families.

You see, the enemy, Satan, will attack you when you least expect it. He will come after you, your family, and even your friends while you are distracted fighting another battle on another front. But David turned to the Lord for his strength. The Lord told him to go pursue his possessions. And David got his stuff back.

Be like David; turn to God, seek His guidance and let Him strengthen you for the battles ahead!

Winter Revival 2019 - Tuesday Evening, January 8th, 2018 - Evangelist Brent Carr

When someone is "all in" it means that they are willing to give it their all, 100%, no reserves, no regrets. It means they have confidence in the situation. The believe fully.

The book of John says that there was a time in Jesus's ministry where some of His disciples went back and no longer walked with Him. For whatever reason, they weren't all in. For whatever reason, they'd given up on Jesus. Maybe it was his preaching. Maybe it was something He said or did. But whatever the reason, they weren't all in.

Search your heart tonight. Are you all in with Him? Are you willing to stick by His side through thick and thin? Even if you are already saved it doesn't mean that you are all in. The Christian life is not always easy, not matter what you might hear from some preachers. But no matter what, He will never leave you! There is no place He cannot reach you! There is no time when He cannot hear you!

Go all in for Jesus today!
