Greenwashing is all around us and at some stage we have all fallen victim to it. There is a big wave towards living green and living sustainably, and as a result, companies are willing to ride the wave. There is also a sentiment that veganism is a fad and another example of greenwashing.
In this episode we discuss what greenwashing is, and why companies engage in greenwashing. We then talk through some examples of it and how you can pick up cues of greenwashing. We finally give our opinion of whether veganism is just an example of greenwashing or is it actually making a difference to this planet.

We start the new year off with a topic that often goes under the radar. We don't often associate antibiotic resistance with animal agriculture, but instead think of doctors and humans.
In this episode we talk about what antibiotic resistance is, and how it happens (what causes it). We then dive deep into antibiotic use in animal agriculture and how it can spread to humans via animals. The use of antibiotics is widespread.
Antibiotic resistance affects everyone - vegans and non-vegans alike.

In today's episode, we talk about the life cycle of an industrial pig. The life cycle is parallel to that of a dairy cow (check out that episode also!) and rather dark. We talk about the different stages the pig goes through before it's inevitable trip to the slaughterhouse.
Eating pig meat has many potential health risks and we also discuss some of the major ones that you should worry about if you eat pork.

Did you know one of the fastest growing sports in the USA is rodeo? Why is a sport that uses animals growing so fast?
Yes, it is entertaining and is a multi million dollar industry but do we wonder what happens to the animals behind the scenes and in the actual events?
In this episode we talk about the different types of rodeo events and bull fighting. We talk about the main issues (according to us) of the rodeo events. We also go in-depth about what happens to these poor animals that are used in the events.
Certainly an eye opener!
