Topic: Cross Of Christ And It's Importance In Our Lives
I'm crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, not I but Christ liveth in me. Gal. 2: 20.
In order Christ to live, we need to crucify or surender and deny our self.
A young wealthy man went for a swimming. He saw a lady swiimming far away. She looked very attractive and good looking. As he swam very close and came near her. He was shocked. She was a leper with ugly boils and rashes all over.
It's no different in our lives too as Christians. When people come close to us,
watch us closely as we associate with them, we may have good qualities in us. But we also find ourselves sometimes our sins as filthy and ugly like that leper.
If anyone desires to come after me, let him *deny himself*
*And take up his cross not on Sundays but daily*
*And follow me.* Luke 9:23.
We may have several talents and gifts we boast of....but if -
If we are not crucified as christians and as preachers, we can never give a crucified msg..
Cross means. we No longer live to please ourselves but Christ. 2 Cor. 5:15.
Cross of Christ is -
Crucifying the carnal fleshly nature with new divine nature of God. Devine nature of
*love,*
*Forgiveness*
and *Reconciliation.*
Cross is crucifying self centredness with Christ centredness.
A great Evangelist once said, "If one person, one evangelist, one child of God crucified his or her self, God will turn the world upside down."
We Pastors and all leaders need to work together with
love,

Good Friday is crucifying self centredness with Christ centredness.
If one person, one evangelist, one child of God crucified self, God will turn the world upside down.
If Pradeep comes to me to discuss some important matter, I intervene in the middle, stop him and start giving my opinion am I honoring Pradeep?
If I listen to him attentively Then I honored him. He loves then to talk to me
Without honoring a person you cannot say, I love him. That's out right hypocrisy.
Then carrying the Cross has no meaning.
If I say I know everything, and boast of my talents. I'm no better than Lucifer.
We all as Christians need to work together with love,
listen and honor each others' words...
If We all as leaders show an example of togetherness loving and honoring each other.
Then people will flock and get attracted to our lives.
The world we live in unfortunately is filled with self centredness and self glory seekers.
Why there is no revival today? Because Cross of christ has lost its essence.
There is no revival and people do not carry Cross but preach and steal the glory that belongs to Christ.
Today's pulpit servants, if not all, many leaders love self glory, praises on them, flattering each other bloating and feeding their ego and self. Pushing Christ in the corner and I, and me take centre stage.-
Be it in family with spouse, with children, be it with relatives, be it in the church -
Love, forgiveness, reconciliation, honoring each other makes cross meaningful and purposeful in our lives.
Otherwise it's the arrogance and pride and self we are feeding ourselves with.
May the pure Love of Christ in you grant you the Divine nature of
forgiveness and
reconciliation

*Relatives*
*Friends*
*and With your church members.*
Let Love, forgiveness and reconciliation rule our hearts. And may we exhibit..
