ROMANS 10:13-15 (NASB95)

13…“WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” 14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? 15 How will they preach unless they are SENT?”

ACTS 1:4-5 NIV

“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father PROMISED, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

Like Jesus’ disciples, we are a people God has SENT, or commissioned and equipped, to share the Good News with the people around us. We are the Church, a movement of people called to operate in the same power that Jesus did—to be His witnesses wherever we go. But the people who were a part of the early church were only empowered because they were first committed to walking together. God blesses unity! So, why does it matter and how do we become and stay

God put good stuff in you!  You are made in the IMAGE OF GOD!  You were made for something great!  Even when life slams the door shut on one area of life, it’s not over.  You may have been overlooked. Man may have voted you out. God may have even said, “Not yet.”  But your potential is still alive in the Lord. There’s still more inside you & in front of you!

Acts 1:8 NLT

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will BE my WITNESSES, telling people about me everywhere...”

Genesis 8:22 NIV

“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."

Psalm 145:4-7 NIVOne generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works—and I will proclaim your great deeds.

Living for God is not just about having the right information…but did that INFORMATION produce TRANSFORMATION in us? Matthew 7:24-27 ESV“Everyone then who HEARS these words of mine and DOES them will be like a WISE man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds...

MATTHEW 7:24-27 NIV“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

Matthew 7:24-27 (NKJV)
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it DID NOT fall, for it was founded on the rock.26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And GREAT was its fall.”
