Vikings vs Redskins… Good morning Horners! Enjoy the win, Baby! Your Minnesota Vikings are now 6-2 at the halfway point of the season. After an emotional game, the Good Morning Gjallarhorn crew recorded their post game reactions. Tighten those seat belts for this wild ride as Dave, Ted and Drew go at it over the Vikings performance. It is funny how people see the same game differently. A win is a win, getting the Vikes to 6-2, and as Ted asked, “who would have thought that after the Bears game?” The Washington Redskins came to US Bank Stadium and put up quite the effort, but failed against Minnesota Vikings at home. The final score was a Vikes victory of 19-9. A “W” is a “W” and the Vikings will take it.

  Do you think Kirk Cousins regressed a bit? Do you think the O-line getting beat on some pass rushes contributed? Do think the penalty count, especially with all those holding calls could cost the team in the future? Does Stefon Diggs have a fumbling issue this season? Did Case Keenum hitting passes against Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes regularly bother you? Do you think this was an ugly, or at least semi-ugly win? Was it because of the short week? Was Mike Zimmer’s or Kevin Stefanski’s play calling pretty bland? Did they do that not to show their hand for the tougher games coming up? Those were just some of the questions addressed, and some quite vehemently. What is your take on the play?

 The team now has 10 days to get ready for the trip to Kansas City. Hopefully any flaws spotted will be fixed. Not to worry though, there will be plenty of written and podcast content between now and then at the Daily Norseman.
