In this video, I’m sharing my personal experience using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to understand how my body responds to different foods and habits. Here’s what I discovered:
I tolerate fruit well in the morning, but not so much in the evening.
Poor sleep makes me super sensitive to glucose, causing higher spikes no matter what I eat.
Juices are a no-go for me! A celery, apple, cucumber, and kale juice on an empty stomach caused my glucose levels to skyrocket, even when paired with prebiotic capsules.
I’ve learned that having 4 smaller meals works better for me than 2 or 3 bigger ones.
If I exercise at the gym (especially leg day) without eating first, my blood sugar drops very low.I’ll also share what I would do differently next time: testing out different foods and hacks, and seeing how my habits measure up. If you’ve ever wondered how your glucose levels react to your daily routine, this might give you some insight!
