Today on I Hear Voices, Will Friedle and Christy Carlson Romano sit down with Lisa Schaffer. Lisa is a voice director and casting director in the world of animation. Some of her credits are Kim Possible, Guardians of the Galaxy, Teen Titans Go!, and The Penguins of Madagascar, to name a few.

In this episode, Lisa details what the voice-over world is like on the other side of the sound booth. She reflects on Kim Possible being the first animation series she directed and how amazing the cast they brought into the show was. Then, Christy and Will recount their experiences voicing Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable. 

Lisa also shares her journey into the world of animation and how directing is the best job ever! In addition, she highlights her mentors and reflects on her one-of-a-kind experiences in the sound booth. Finally, Lisa also speaks about what she sees occurring in animation's future. 

PLUS, Lisa directs Christy and Will to voice a character one of our fans submitted. Wait until you hear the sound Christy creates for her “love ray,” and Will developed the character “Roy Kat” aka the cat version of Roy Kent.
