Another victim shaming tool - the social media realm on happiness and all the "experts" with simplistic comments that can deter a struggling victim from feeling as if they do not fit in. 

I don't know about , but I get tired with the overwhelming messages out there telling me I need to be happy, should be happy, if I am happy then ...if Im not happy then...its my fault.  Happiness is just part of the emotional landscape potential  for human beings which is directly impacted by environments and no amount of sugar coating will make someone happy in a terrible situation.  I include a quote on Happiness and Action .  Its my formula - for my life - not to pursue happiness as defined by the culture or history books, but to do things that resonant with my nature - born happy like most children, and dealing with the reality of adulthood.  Sometimes happy and sometimes not.

Im ok with being called a bitch.  Today, its not an insult. Women are embracing the "bitch energy". I know my point has come across when somebody calls me a bitch.  In this episode I talk about my anger, and men's anger from my life, and I read from my book, Colors of Amber, A Memoir.  We shame men for crying, we cheer them on for anger, stoicism, being "manly" and there really is no where to go with anger.  It's seems very difficult for men to handle a woman's anger.  If she's strong, we call her a "bitch".   Listen and send me your comments, stories.

Being poor - does have an impact on health and wellness.  Don't let anybody sugar coat that. This podcast explores messages around being brought up poor and female and how those experiences turn into patterns that build on patterns of programs that are created by the environments we are exposed to.  Through EMDR and type of therapy, I've been able to answer  the question about why I've blamed myself over the years for the things that I've been exposed to.  Powerful and experiential.  

Stay strong.  Get through the stories.  It will help you desensitize enough so that you can actually gain enough strength to face hardships - head on.  You can listen to me figure this out in this podcast - and bam! - I grow.  No secret 5 steps to "fix" anything.  It doesnt work that way.
