My frustrations, anger, and hatred isn't aimed at one party, but both major parties. It comes from the tribal nature of most people. Falling in line behind one of the two major parties, all the while blaming one of the two. They have both been in power over and over again for the last hundred years. They don't care about you and they don't have to listen to you. Their tribe will vote them in no matter what. They don't do what the American people want and they never will. They know they will be voted in and the people don't pose a threat. Not until we start voting our conscience's and taking our lives and communities into our own hands, will they lift a finger to help us. This episode is about holding our politician and corporate elite accountable by coming together for a common cause. That cause is to take the power back for the people. Join us and see what I think some of the solutions for the massive divide in our country!

I believe there is a basic misunderstanding about what capitalism, socialism, and communism are. People are arguing constantly over what system is the best or what should be implemented in America and how we get there. I'm a believer in capitalism with minimal government intervention, although I do believe in have social programs, although the current ones need a huge overhaul. We cover these different systems and a couple other ones on this episode and how I've reached my viewpoint over the years. Hint: I used to believe I was an anarchist and communist. Welcome to the show! Episode 10 - Where The Independents At? of Vote Your Conscience with Kevin Stolla covers the two major party platforms as well as four third party's platforms. We go over the issues each party claims to be in favor or against on their campaign website. This is to help listeners get an understanding of what these outside parties views are and if any of those parties ideas are more aligned with their own than the two major parties. If they are, I would recommend switching your vote to one of these parties.

Did you know the latest Gallup Poll claims that 40 percent of voters identify as independents? Now is our chance to push back against the establishment. The Democrats and Republicans have had their time. I don't believe there is any reform that can fix those parties. At least not until other parties and viewpoints come into the fold.

I believe we can shift the power back to the people in this country and it all starts with understanding our options. If we don't take care in choosing who we want to run this country, the corporate and political class will choose for us!

Episode 7 of Vote Your Conscience with Kevin Stolla is called "Educate Yourself", because I believe that the education system in America has done an extremely poor job at turning children into honest leaders, with strong character. If we are to take the power back from the politicians and corporate leaders, we need to be strong leaders ourselves. Leadership to me is more about leading yourself, rather than leading others.

Self improvement is discussed and how it should be incorporated into the school system. I briefly mention some of the self improvement leaders, such as Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Napoleon Hill, Ed Mylett, Tom Bilyeu, and Gary Vee. Check them out to find whos personality best fits you, if you're interested. I mention one of my favorite books that I'm currently reading again, which gave me the idea for this episode. The title is "You Can't Afford The Luxury of a Negative Thought by John-Roger and Peter McWilliams".

I believe with better education, we get a better country. That's what this episode is all about!

Online discussions and debates can be brutal. All the misunderstandings, name calling, threats, stereotyping, and one upmanship can be exhausting. All the names people can me and mean shit they say about me, doesn't bother me much. What bothers me is that we could be having such better conversations, discussions, debates, and arguments. Instead we have discussion disarray! A giant degeneration of what discussion should be. Growing up online interacting with people through the video gaming world, I'm no stranger to how grotesque anonymous interaction can be online. In fact, I enjoy it in those circumstances. I just think that's where it should stay. In the realm of play. When adults are trying to have discussions about the future of the country and what systems of governance we should have in this country, it blows my mind how mean most of the interactions are. This episode goes over all of this and more!!

Welcome to the show! This episode of Vote Your Conscience with Kevin Stolla is all about personal decision making and responsibility. Using each decision as a vote to elect a better you can change your life. I believe if we can take more responsibility in our personal lives, then we can change the system we live under. As individuals choose to take responsibility, so too will the government officials be obligated to take responsibility for their actions and outcomes of their decisions. Instead of blaming politicians and corporations, let's all hold them accountable through voting our conscience at the polls, with our dollars, and in our own lives. One of the main goals of this podcast is to help people see through the divisive ideals of the powerful and realize that most people in the U.S. just want better lives for themselves and their families. So no matter which side of an issue you're on, remember that the people on the other side don't want you to be worse off, they just have different ideas on how to achieve a better outcome for our society. The one thing I believe people can agree on is that we need to take the power back from the people, so remember to always vote your conscience!

In this episode of Vote Your Conscience with Kevin Stolla, we discuss how, if we work together, using the concept of voting your conscience, can shift the power back into the people's hands and away from the government and corporations! Voting your conscience is seen by me as more of a euphemism for courage and responsibility. We dive deep into the idea of taking our power back by taking responsibility as individuals when voting and also purchasing everyday goods. If we can shift how we purchase, we can shift the power dynamic of many industries. If we want better products, we need to buy better products, even if they are more expensive. This takes courage, responsibility and discipline to actually look into products before you buy them and turn it into a habit. We need the courage to look at ourselves and realize that we have the power to change our lives and our world through individual choices. Even if it's changing the world only slightly in the direction we want, it's massively better than letting it slide into an even worse situation. This episode is about how the citizens of the USA aren't just "we the people", but in fact should be viewing ourselves as "we the powerful".
