this week's wrestling was BRUTAL. we had an evil dinosaur taking out Kip Sabian, an unexpected cameo from Darby Allin beating up Brandon Cutler, and then Mariah May, well, Mariah May broke everyone's heart, especially Toni's.

also, Hangman is not gonna main event All In? we have some thoughts. have a listen!

he’s back! he’s back! Hangman Adam Page is back and he is angry! also MJF did murder live on television, and we got some extremely fun questions from listeners. this week was an emotional rollercoaster and we loved it all, even though we were wrong about literally everything we predicted in our previous episode. but it’s fine, we’re still happy!

we're very excited this week because AEW has announced there's going to be a Dynamite and Collision taping in Wales!!!! Cymru am byth!!!

we also saw the beginning of the Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament this week, and we are eyeing that "wildcard" slot with great suspicion...

and we're also side-eyeing all the wrestlers who got all up in one another's faces this week but didn't do any smooching. go on, someone do some kissing please. please?

happy birthday to us!

yep, your fave wrestling podcast is one year old this week, somehow?? and we haven't grown up even one tiny bit. as you'll find out when you listen to this episode and we're still wailing about our special little guys.

we're having a bit of a sulk this week actually, because we see where a certain storyline seems to be going and we do not like it!!!!! but it's fine, Christian Cage has got our backs, we're pretty sure.

wanna buy a cool t-shirt and support a good cause? MJ's Be Gay Do Clotheslines Pride shirt is available here. All proceeds go to Mermaids.

this week we are saying a big old thank youuuuuuu to Renee Paquette for fixing our hearts with her Chuck Taylor interview. we thought we were gonna get hurt and instead we might have been… healed?

we’re also still finding the learning tree hilarious, we’re happy to see MJF back, and we love Mariah and her love triangle but we’re a bit worried the internet is gonna make it weird.

also, for the love of deathmatch, CAN WE GET HANGMAN BACK NOW PLEASE?

how do you solve a problem like Team AEW being significantly less likeable than Team Elite? we’ve got a foolproof solution and… yeah it’s Hangman, there’s no suspense there really, it’s just Hangman.

also this episode, Trent wore a very nice suit that looked like it fitted him really well and we liked that, but we didn’t like what he did to Orange Cassidy (again) and we also really want to warn wrestlers not to go to Dracula’s castle.

it’s Double or Nothing Eve, and your girlies are VERY EXCITED.

and since the PPV is this weekend, we decided not to worry about what’s gonna happen in various ongoing storylines and instead just spend our time making a list of everything we popped for this week.

lovely things include gremlins being gremlins, Malakai’s epic Carrie job, vampire lore and new wedding traditions, and the indelible image of Darby Allin marching down the ramp with a flamethrower.

after a very sad few weeks, we deserved this.

after an unscheduled break last week, we're back!!!!! so now we've got two weeks' worth of wrestling to fit in, including what the gremlin Elite have been up to lately, why we want Cope and Mercedes to embrace the dark side, and, you guessed it, we're fantasy booking Hangman again.

also, the ghost of Chuck Taylor haunts the narrative.

minor silliness ensues.
