  • WUWW# 13 - “Money where your mouth is”
Have you ever made a commitment you can’t keep? What do you do after you failed to show up and keep your commitment. In today’s mini show I acknowledge the commitment I failed to keep. I said I would have an interview episode with a guest at the beginning of the year and never did. I’m still committed to creating an interview episode so I’m going to take the phrase “put your money where your mouth is at seriously.” Tune in to find out where I will donate money to if I can’t publish an interview episode by Friday 1/17. Also I’ve created a website to support this podcast. Check it out and you can find my contact info listed there at www.wakeupwithwonder.com

  • WUWW # 12 - New Year, New Structures
This is YOUR podcast for the HUMAN who has Wondered for long enough and Is now ready to expand their world, capitalize on the power of possibility, create deep connections, live intentionally, be mindful and take back power in all areas of their lives. Today’s episode is about something that we all do as humans at one point or another. Overcommit!! As New Years rolls around we all have our end of the year reflections and new year goals. If your like me you might get wrapped up in those goals and when your planning out the structures your going to use to achieve said goals you might get a little overzealous and whole heartedly (over)commit. Or after some time and reflection you might come to realize your intentions were pure but a different structure might allow for a better flow and more motivation. I share my experience and negative pattern from over commitment and why it’s ok to overcommit so long as we can acknowledge it and adjust the related structures of our lives accordingly. I share with you the small tweak I made in hopes it will help create space for you to find the area or structure in your life that you can tweak for massive power and overall better flow. Lastly, I invite you to be kind to yourself for the first couple of weeks of the holiday season as it’s a long ball game and we don’t always get our structures right the first time but we can commit to being better and doing better. As always reviews on apple podcasts are TRULY appreciated as they are invaluable towards spreading the gift of Wonder. If you’d like to connect and discuss your perspective on Wonder or even the possibility of being a guest to share a time you lost your sense of Wonder on a future podcast episode I can be emailed at [email protected] - For more content you can find me on Facebook at Jason B. • WUWW # 11 - “Hope In Wondering”
This is YOUR podcast for the HUMAN who has Wondered for long enough and Is now ready to expand their world, capitalize on the power of possibility, create deep connections, live intentionally and take back power in all areas of their lives. In today’s episode we will look at how one can create hope and excitement out of a sense of wonder. A lot of times in the past I have been afraid to admit the phrase “I don’t know” out loud when people ask me a question. This would lead me to either make up a story and basically lie, exhaust myself trying to figure out the answer or my worst fear admit that I don’t know and look dumb/weak. It wasn’t until recently that I was able to reframe this concept of “I don’t know” into a positive opportunity for hope and wonder. Towards the end of the episode I share with you my 4 step strategy to embracing an I don’t know and using it to spark hope and excitement towards the future. Have a wonderful holiday! All honest reviews are appreciated as they help spread the gift of Wonder. • WUWW # 10 - “The Gift of Wonder”
Merry Christmas! This is YOUR podcast for the HUMAN who has Wondered for long enough and Is now ready to expand their world, capitalize on the power of possibility, create deep connections, live intentionally and take back power in all areas of their lives. Because it is Christmas we will discuss the concept of “gift wrapping” in this episode. We explore the psychological frameworks behind gift wrapping and we embrace some of the feelings that may arise when we receive unwrapped gifts. These negative experiences of receiving unwrapped gifts are connected to the instanced in our life where we receive unfavorable news. The same Wonder mindset and psychological frameworks behind gift wrapping can be used to help us reframe a negative experience into a learning and growth opportunity. I will conclude the podcast by walking you through a short 2-5 minute exercises called “forget yourself” where we use journaling or declarations to embrace the treasures and gifts in the world all around us. • Wondering if it’s Melanchol(I) or Fear
Merry Christmas Eve! This is YOUR podcast for the HUMAN who has Wondered for long enough and Is now ready to expand their world, capitalize on the power of possibility, create deep connections, live intentionally and take back power in all areas of their lives. Franz Kafka said “there is a destination, but no path to it; what we call a path is hesitation.” I personally explore my hesitation about doing an end of the year reflection from 2019, planning out 2020 and goal setting for next year. After I completed the task I chose to dig deep to the root of this pattern regarding hesitation until I was able to identify and acknowledge my current underlying fear regarding expanding my podcast. At the end of the episode I walk you through a mini 2 minute artistic visualization called the “me with no fear” experience. This experience is intended to help us commit to embracing a fear of ours by 5% and more importantly to embrace the wonderful possibilities that may arise from doing so. I conclude with my personal commitment to you for my upcoming podcast episode at the beginning of 2020. Have a wonderful day! All honest reviews are appreciated as they help spread the gift of Wonder.
