This (walnut)Wednesday we welcome back the gorgeous Cloe, for more deep discussions - some of which didn't come full circle, sorry - her ADHD diagnosis, grief workshops and taking some time off the dating scene.
Hang out with Cloe on the internet @wordswithcloe and let us know what you think of this episode!
This week I got to chat with my ol friend, Moana, about her journey through her ADHD diagnosis and what life after diagnosis looks like for her. We talk about ADHD burnout, getting diagnosed as an adult - a slither of motherhood and postpartum - the different presentations of ADHD, masking, medical mysogny, relearning as an adult, trying to unmask and letting go of shame.
Mo says: " I’m a wife, mum to two boys, and a paediatric nurse. On paper, I’m a well-functioning adult; in reality, I’m a well-intentioned chaos goblin trying to keep up with my own brain. Diagnosed with ADHD in April, I’m finally starting to make sense of myself."
Get in touch with Moana on Instagram @moana_skye and come hang out with me in all the places at @walnutwednesday
This (walnut)Wednesday we welcome my (not)old friend since primary and high school, Matt Eller. I got to pick Matt's brain on living out my drama school dreams where he did a diploma to finally actually "living the dream" with his company, Evoke Audio. We also touched on a squishy topic after Matt and his wife's new home was crashed into by a car, in the middle of the night and how that horror movie of an incident, has impacted him.
Matt is a full-time audio engineer who began his career in Wellington after graduating from Toi Whakaari NZ Drama School, working across various theatre shows and companies as a technical operator and sound designer. A move to Auckland at the end of 2014 shifted his focus to live audio engineering, where he started working as the primary audio engineer and road manager for the Modern Māori Quartet, touring throughout New Zealand and around the world. In 2020, he co-founded Evoke Audio alongside his mate Ricky, an audio post-production studio based in West Auckland.

WE'RE BACK! For the first episode of 2026, I am so happy to welcome back, Kate Bromley, to help facilitate this episode. The theme of this episode is "a lot... but nothing" and just celebrating a warm return back to the mic! I hope you enjoy being a fly on the wall for another Kate & Lazz chat.

This week I have the lovely Colby chatting with me all about how she got into author services and self employment. From dog sitting to content pulls she's found herself in a really happy place in life. I intended to have a bookish chat about starting a business, but of course, we do a deep dive and discuss some heavy hitting topics as Colby courageously shared some home truths about the trauma work she has been doing.
Colby says: I’m an author service provider working with over 15 romance authors. I’m 24 and live in Arkansas in the States! I started reading romance books when I was 15 and have been apart of the community for about five years.and she SLAYS! Connect with Colby @colbsland on both Instagram and Tiktok

Six years of leading myself and may there be many more!
Trust: I am safe, I am secure. In love I trust. My faith endures.
Hi hi hi I am over the moon to have found a moment to catch you up. Current lesson: some people need you broken and "you don't need to remain broken, just because it is all you've ever known" (thanks to Alex Reads Tarot on Tiktok).
Talk to you soon! Love, Lazz xo

This week, I'm so excited to speak with a friend from HIGH SCHOOL who is out in the world doing all sorts of amazing stuff! Welcome, Kat Farron!
Kat spent almost 10 years climbing the ranks in retail marketing, thriving in high-pressure environments and pushing through the quiet warning signs of burnout, until her body stepped in and forced a full stop.
What followed was a slow, sometimes messy, reconnection with rest, purpose, and mental wellbeing. Out of that space came Oh Vienna - a brand inspired by her rescue dog and a desire to create products that are as practical as they are considered.
Now, Kat is passionate about building a business that prioritises balance, creativity, and a softer way of doing things.

This week I get to chat with a wonderful friend of mine, Sam Cotton, who shared an honest overview of her postpartum experience. I'm so grateful for women who come and share their stories with us - and this episode is no exception! Sam and I chat about her story in hopes to help new (or otherwise) Mother's to feel less isolated and alone.
Sam is passionate about maternal mental health, postpartum honesty, and what it means to be both a mother and a woman, and where those things both intersect and run parallel to one another (and fighting the guilt that comes with that!). You can connect with Sam on IG @lavender_blue
