Walter van den Branden from the Netherlands was an IFBB judge from 1977-2009. In his interview with the Bodybuilding Legends Podcast, Walter talks about some of the legendary bodybuilders he met during his years in the sport including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Pearl, Steve Reeves, Reg Park, Frank Zane and Boyer Coe. Walter also discusses some of the great bodybuilding contests he attended or judged including the 1977 IFBB Mr. Universe with Mike Mentzer and Kal Szkalak as well as the 1979, 1982 and 1983 Mr. Olympia competitions. Walter and John also talk about how bodybuilding has changed over the years with more of an emphasis on size over symmetry.
